I'm editing this but I'm adding this on top hoping that I will be able to delete it. Maybe they hired a bunch of new people on and this was just a fluke and can still be remedied. Every time I go there I order the exact same drink no matter what dunkin' Donuts I stopped at. It is a caramel iced coffee drink and I really like the caramel. So I pay extra to get all 10 pumps that I'm able to get. They won't let you go higher than 10 pumps that's how many it is. But for some reason for about the last five or six times I have been to my nearest Dunkin Donuts that I used to stop at all the time they are not giving me my 10 pump of Carmel thatI pay extra for. My belief is what they are doing is the first pump is a full pump but after that they are not letting the pump retract all the way back up before pushing it down again so the first pump is a fuel pump and every pump thereafter is probably at the most a half a pump. They push it all the way down once and because they are in a hurry and trying to be fast they do not give the time for it to come back up so the 9 times they go really fast. I don't believe they even realize they are doing it. Even though I have mentioned it multiple times. At a different store the lady actually tried to tell me that I was wrong and that's not how pumps work. I challenged her when she had the time to get two cups and do it the way I'm saying and then do it the way she is saying and she will see a drastic difference. I don't know if she ever did or not. I challenge this store to do the exact same thing. I can see the pump and that kind of pump all work the same. U do not have a special pump that does not have to retract each time. So I'm hoping the owner or the store manager reads this and retrains every employee that makes drinks. And I'm begging you to please do the test that I mentioned. Won't take long just get two cups and have them pump it the way they always pump It. Make sure they don't let it retract more than they usually do. And then use the other cop trying it the way I am telling you by letting it come all the way back up first before you push it down for the second time and you have to do that every pump. U would think if they saw that someone ordered 10 pumps of something, that they obviously like that something and they want all ten pumped that they paid for. For the record I'm hoping this gets fixed so I can delete this. I have never had a problem at the store before other than this. It just seems to not be getting fixed over the last couple months.
If U go to Dunkin Donuts often I would recommend using the app. The points add up pretty quick when U stop more than U think that U do. LOL. Nothing wrong with adding so many points that U get a lot of stuff. The only thing they need to change at this location is the visual of their sign out on US-19. There are trees blocking the sign leading all the way up to it. If you are driving without using a GPS you will pass it up very easily unless you have been there before and have already made that mistake and learned from it. LOL. Hopefully that's gotten fixed or at...
Read moreEdit: Since the original review I tried inside again but used the kiosk to save the hassle. I placed my order and when they started putting my order together I was told they only had 2 of the dozen donuts I asked for. No donuts in back and it was 9 am. They couldn't give me money back because the manager wasn't there and I couldn't come back the next day when she was. Because they were panicking they made the coffees completely wrong. Not even close to the simple ice coffees I ordered. 3 inconvenient trips later I still couldn't catch her and then too much time had passed. So I'm out almost $30
Jump to this morning: I braved it again. This time the drive through. Today is my hubby's birthday so I stopped for ice coffees and a dozen donuts for us and family. There were was more in the order than I could carry so I went through the drive through. I asked for the coffees which were made correctly, and a dozen donuts. I asked for a yummy mix of a filled donuts and blueberry donuts for 3 adults. What I got was one Bavarian cream, one jelly, one blueberry and all the rest are dry, plain donuts or sprinkles. What a a waste of time.
We had family in town so I stopped in for special coffee and a dozen donuts. I stood there for 40 minutes while staff passed by me and ignored me. Some even stopping to chit chat with each other in front of me only to walk away when done. I do realize there is a kiosk machine that says "Why wait? Order here!" But I had cash not a card and I had questions before my order. But I suppose there's no room for human interaction at Dunkin anymore. Ironic isn't it? When I finally did get helped the employee that helped me was fast, polite, apologetic and helpful. He even told me if I didn't see what I wanted in the donut case it might be in the back. There wasn't much of a choice in the case and what was there was messy and some in the wrong places. Luckily, I go fairly often so I know the names of the donuts I wanted and know that it doesn't always look like that. I was disappointed that day because it wasn't even busy but it isn't the norm so I'm hoping maybe it was just an off day for the employees. I'm the end, I got what I needed and was happy. That's the...
Read moreSo don't like coming to the particular location the only nice thing I have to say is that the store itself is nice, kept very clean, and has 2 emoyees that will try and go above and beyond to help ok other than that, most of the employees just don't care and make it obvious they don't. The selection of donuts is inconsistent at best...Update 7/15 went through drive through at 730 this morning,as is I refuse to get coffee at this location due to the most of the employees don't even try to get it right, but this morning my family wanted vanilla creme donuts, something that this location RARELY offers. After the manager renewed my faith that I could ask for it and that this would no longer be a problem,I went directly there and when told no, they don't have vanilla cream I asked if they had the shell to make it (just like manager said to do) the girl at window.got huffy and long story short came back at me with well, they have no vanilla cream!!! Its one of the franchise's best selling donut. I called ahead to the trouble creek store, who not only had them but offered to hold some for.me! Kudos to that store!! Curiously I called to every dd store and everyone else has them.. I know this sounds like such a rant over donuts but unfortunately dad is sick and dd vanilla cream donuts is one of few foods he likes..as for me. Wawa across the street now has another...
