If I could give 0 stars I would!!!
My family and I have had the most pathetic excuse for customer service with this franchise. My sister, with her one week old baby, made a simple order of three iced coffees when coming to Summerfield from Ocala for a visit. Just three drinks!!!! There happened to be a mistake with one drink, which wasn't that big of a deal.
I had made a call to the store to let them know and was told by Angel, the ASSISTANT MANAGER, to call back in an hour and that they were busy. As I was still in the middle of a sentence, I was hung up on! My mother grabs the phone and calls back and gets the same "manager" and begins to explain the situation again and he spends his time back peddling and apologizing telling us to come back today or tonight and he'd fix it. My sister decided to call back and say that she'd just like her 2.75 back because we don't want any tampering with our drink due to how much of a hassle this manager turned it into. She was told that it was fine and to just come in, so she drove nearly ten miles back again to get her money before heading to Ocala to meet her husband. When she got there she was told by Angel that she needed the product to have her 2.75$$$ refunded. YES, 2.75$$!!!!! So, it being the principle, she drove back AGAIN... Grabbed the coffee that I didn't touch after the first sip and THANKFULLY DIDN'T THROW AWAY... And had to make the trip completely out of her way for hopefully the last time!!! MEANWHILE, two phone calls of asking him for the number to contact the franchise owner was useless because he refused to provide it! As was the case when she asked face to face when presenting the product on the last trip! This situation ended with the nice cherry on top of him telling my sister that she could be mad at him all she wanted while he mistakenly tried gather 2.59 to hand back to her when she had to correct him and say "the tax too."
I have never been presented with such an appalling case of customer service in my entire life. I will never, nor will my family, ever return to this particular franchise. We made sure to contact the corporate customer care, who received our complaint with nothing but understanding and kindness, with the end result being a detailed report to the franchise owner as we had originally requested. Read moreI go here regularly. They overall give great service and always kind. Majority of the time things given taste great and prepared properly. Yes once in a while the preparation is a little off which is normal for any restaurant but I don't fuss about it because they usually give great service. The other reviews I've read are petty and nit picking on things that can easily be fixed. Also as a person who has 4-5 years of restaurant experience, places get busy and it gets hectic so service will be rushed at times to make sure everyone gets their food in a timely manner. So things won't be perfect all the time. That's just reality that many need to realize. Doesn't mean staff is horrible and aren't trained right. Maybe they need more staff to help. Yes training can be an issue for new people but through time, they will do their job better. If you are one of those that is a chronic complainer or people that has to customize their meal to impossibility, you either have had no experience working in the restaurant or have nothing better to do then get worked up and wonder service for you always seem to go wrong for you. You can't complain about your one day of experience as an overall experience because if that's the case, let's complain about every place then. Also this is an all type of customers place, children and adults. Children will run around and play but that's not the staffs fault, it's the parents who need to take control of that. My goodness it's an ice cream place too so of course kids will be there. So everyone lets bring the New Year right. If you are going to complain, let's make our point in a respectful way instead of being irrate. If there is too much cream and you can't stay to complain, come back at a different time and order it again and explain nicely why you want less cream. Let's start being petty for 2016 and start doing things properly for all those restaurants who are trying their best...
Read moreMy sister placed an order for two large sweet teas and just her coffee, of course. Everything was fine until I tried mine. My taste was very different from my mom's. We went to take it back; it was closer to the time they closed at 7:40–7:50 p.m. My mom stated that we were just here and got the sweet teas; one tastes fine, but the other tastes off, like something was put in there by accident. She proceeded to first give my mom an attitude, then say, But I can remake it. It was low-key rude. As someone who lives around here, I am very disappointed in how these employees treat their customers. Remember the saying “the customer is always right"? Well, when did we have to receive a whole attitude? This place truly went downhill. The last time I considered going here, and I did, there was this sweet guy, but I never saw him again after. We need more people like him and fewer people fighting customers just because, as we said, it tasted like something was put into it accidentally.
