Esmeralda Cuban Bakery — Restaurant in Florida

I called them to ask about their business hours. Google Maps says they close at 3AM but I was pretty sure it was incorrect and meant 3PM. The time was around 2:30PM. I said “what time are you open until?”

The line went dead.

I was in the car and using Bluetooth commands to call. I figured something made the call disconnected.

I called a second time and said the same thing. The line went dead.

Once again, I asked my Siri to call them.

I asked the question a third time and was actually communicated with. I was told “no inglés” and then hung up on.

I fully respect a persons right to speak as much or as little of any language that they wish. In a normal scenario, I’d have Google how to communicate my question in Spanish when I arrived at my dry cleaner and called a fourth time and asked (as best I could) in Spanish.

But this behavior was completely disrespectful and unprofessional. I was going to plan on purchasing a catering order for my office because I heard good things but absolutely not and can’t ever recommend this place to anyone with the disrespectful nature of their...

I am also Cuban and I do the best dishes of Cuban food especially pastries!I'm planning to open up A Cuban Cafe also and put all of my love heart and soul in my place, put all my effort and also run my business and I can even upload images of the food that I make I guarantee you it will put there restaurant off the map, But this place always ends up missing up either my order or they'll serve you a bad flan! Serve you saggy ass pastries they always think they're right when there are really wrong what happened to customer is always?! right!! but not in this store...What I'm Trying To say they must have lost there Cuban touch is like losing your inside music!!! I don't mean to talk bad about this store but y'all don't show customer respect and how a cafe supposed to be run.. right now I'm calling Health Department food investigator inc... and filing a complaint.. because that food must not be healthy for your health just looking out for the people that comes...

Excellent food; great, professional, friendly, helpful staff. They make a variety of delicious foods. They give you amazing portions, and the food is to die for! Really! I HIGHLY recommend. Besides their absolutely delicious food, they also have a large selection of excellent delicious pastries. They also make delicious sandwiches like Cuban sandwiches, steak sandwiches, etc., and they're very, very good. They have a huge selection of delicious Cuban food & pastries.
