I dont think I will visit again when Im in town. First there was no menu on the wall, tv or even on paper. When I asked for the menu it was not received with a friendly approach, service is not that great. I ordered what you think every bakery has...a Cuban sandwich. The Cuban sandwich was thrown in a bag not properly wrapped in paper and it was all over the bag when I opened it, I had to recreate the sandwich on a plate to be able to eat it. I was told they were getting ready to serve hot food so I asked for a completa lunch. I was never offered what kind of rice I wanted and had the choice of pork chunks or beef. I asked how the beed was cooked. I was told stewed and to me that is carne con papas, well its just a chunk of meat. Well what you see in the picture attached is half the Moros and half the meat that was served in this completa. Nothing else was touched as the food did not seem fresh and even my dog turned up her nose on it. The pastry Senorita that I got was old and the pudding in it dry and cracked. The turron de mani was ok, croquetas were cold but ok and the Cappuccino o cabezote sweet was ok too. Really disappointed that I paid 51.00 for all of this food and half...
Read moreThe sandwiches are really good and very decently priced. I've tried several of the pastries and more often than not, they look beautiful but I was disappointed with the taste. The eclairs are delicious ! The coffee is WONDERFUL! -So delicious! If I have to admit a negative point, it would be that the employees do not speak English very well. I have to have them repeat things two or three times before I understand what they're trying to say. Don't get me wrong, they are very friendly. Granted it is a Cuban bakery pizzeria, and 90% of their clientele is either Spanish or Cuban, however, this is the USA. The prices are very reasonable, workers are very friendly, and it's a great place to stop for breakfast or sandwich &...
Read moreI never had a problem with them until I got an old tres leches. Like an unethical animal, the owner stuck his fingers in the dessert to taste it. Then to rediculize me, he gave that tres leches to a waiting customer. And then gave a new one for free to another client who was eating. All this happened while the owner argued with me. It seems like he doesn't know or respect that here in America, the customer is always right. Needless to say, I never entered that place ever again. Oh and their spaguetti is no good. I can make a better one at home with prego and three different cheeses. And don't order pan con lechon either, it is filled with...
