Gigi's Bakery and Deli — Restaurant in Florida

I go here some mornings/afternoons before work to get a bite to eat. I love the staff and how they try to remember you and make small conversation. The food is great, I only ever got one pastry (Hazelnut Croissant) for my mother and she said it was delicious. Also it's quite beautiful in the bakery I love the decor. UPDATE Im updating this review due to some changes that have happened. First off there is new staff who are not welcoming. Don't say good morning/afternoon and no smiles. The lady just looks like she is miserable and you're a burden to her. The food has also gone down hill. I had a ice cold beef empanada and a guava pastry that was hard as a brick. One of my coworkers has stopped coming completely because she ordered the egg croissant sandwich but was given just a croissant sandwich. The lady at the counter refused to refund her or ask the kitchen to make a new order. Just told her that she would have to purchase the sandwich again despite her having the receipt and food in hand. Very nice place and was greeted right away. Place was clean and free WiFi. I wanted a few sweet treats and I have never been here before. Has a Latin Cuban spin for the desserts which are okay in my book I was hoping for a little bit more different variety but they do have plenty of new stuff for me to try. I had a café con Leche small cupcake some type of vanilla cake with icing and whipped cream in the middle delicious. I also had a sweet bread roll and some sugar on top amazing. I don’t usually leave bad reviews, but I had a disappointing experience here. I called earlier in the day and asked if they made custom cakes. I explained that I wanted a picture on an 8-inch cake and was told it would be $54. That sounded fair, so I drove out later to place the order. When I arrived and explained the same details again, I was suddenly told the price was $71. That’s a big jump from what I was originally quoted, and no one mentioned any price changes or additional fees over the phone. It felt misleading, and unfortunately, I won’t be returning.
