I hate writing a negative review but the service at this restaurant was simply offensive. I didn't even get a seat. I was actually refused service because the kitchen was busy. This was a first for me to be honest.
I asked for an order to go and Tatiana told me the kitchen was swamped and that food tickets were too long. She dismissed my need before we even had chance to be seated. She didn't want to sit me nor serve me a To go order.
There was no line at the front host counter and the gentleman me before was seated without issue. I have never been denied service at an open establishment. The demeanor was cold, the words of disservice were strong, and the feeling I was left with was empty. I wound up going off site to eat.
This is a hotel restaurant. I would eat there every day as I'm here at conference, but based on this activity I will instead make a corporate complaint as I have already made complaint to the front desk and will absolutely steer others away from this establishment with a passionate word of mouth effort. I am here at the hotel for six more days and will now go off site to eat because of this treatment. I have travelled with Marriott for a long time but this behaviour has me quietioning their brand.
Beware the discremantory attitude and In the future I suggest you stay away from this food place....
Read moreI tried this place because it was the only restaurant in the hotel that was open and didn't have a huge wait time when I arrived. I was pleasantly surprised. It's located in the hotel so it's only a short walk away. They have standard bar-fare like wings and burgers but they also have healthy options. I opted for a salad topped with Mahi and a side of Steamed Asparagus (I didn't see this listed as a menu option on their website but it was in the sides section on the paper menu.) Everything was very good and fresh. The closest thing I could compare it to was a Buffalo Wild Wings in terms of ambiance. You can talk comfortably it's just a little loud. The prices are kind of steep, which is to be expected in a hotel restaurant. I paid $33 before tip for just the salad and the asparagus with only water as a beverage. So, do be prepared for that if you choose to dine here. I will say that the waiter was very attentive and remembered me from earlier in the week the second time I came here. I would recommend this if you are staying here and prefer not...
Read moreWe dined on 4th of July and we sat and ordered drinks and appetizers. We received our appetizers then our drinks and then our napkins and silverware, in that very order.
The food was just ok. We ordered a variety of different menu items.
Upon receiving our check, the waiter place the bill on the table and in a low voice states “the holiday service fee is already added.” Turns out there was a 20% gratuity automatically added plus another $13 Fee. Upon speaking with the manager, we informed him that no one had mentioned these fees before sitting us and turns out, he too wasn’t aware those fees were being added and he had no explanation for the extra $13.00 fee other than to tell us “consider they are working on a holiday.”
Based on poor service and a subpar menu , this was not an enjoyable dinner that would be...
