This place dares to call itself a hibachi restaurant? What an absolute joke. My family and I were excited to go here on vacation since hibachi is usually a highlight for us, but this was hands down the worst meal we’ve ever spent money on. The food was atrocious—undercooked, bland, and thrown together with zero care. The chicken was so dry, I could barely swallow it, the noodles didn’t even have soy sauce (at a hibachi restaurant—seriously?!), and nothing had the flavor or fun that hibachi is supposed to be known for. To top it off, one of my children actually got sick after eating here. That’s not just disappointing—it’s dangerous.
We spent $400 for this disaster. Four. Hundred. Dollars. And most of our plates went untouched because the food was that bad. That kind of money should buy a great family experience. Instead, we got ripped off, disgusted, and left hungry.
And don’t think the service made up for it—it was just as bad. No warmth, no effort, no apology, nothing. It felt like they didn’t care if we were there or not, just as long as they could take our money.
I almost never write reviews, but this was so terrible that people need to be warned. This place is overpriced, careless, and completely unworthy of being called a hibachi restaurant. Save your money, save your stomach, and save yourself the frustration. Go literally anywhere else—because anywhere else will be...
Read more5 star prices but food and service are 2.5 stars. We waited 25 minutes to be seated despite having a reservation. Drink orders taken promptly but took some time to materialize... And my glass of wine never appeared, I had to ask again. Soup and salad showed up, salad dressing was a watery mess, way too much grated ginger on the greens, it made the salad unpalatable. Waited a good amount of time for our tableside chef. That was somewhat interesting but the food is cooked in batches, rice / noodles first, then veggies, then meat and seafood. Plated as it is cooked so that by the time you get the whole plate, the sides are lukewarm at bestand vegetables are limp and soggy. The filet mignon was tender but lacking in flavour, definitely not an A cut of meat. Also, as it is cut while cooking, you end up with a mix of rare, medium and well done pieces regardless of your stated preference. The same seasoning is used on everything, making for a meal that lacks in contrast and interest. Of note, if you aren't part of a large group, you end up sitting with a bunch of strangers - it would have been nice to know that ahead of time as I would have gone elsewhere. At $130 for 2 dinners and a glass of wine, the value just isn't there in my book. It may hit the mark if you are looking for a tableside hibachi experience, but for me, that wasn't enough to make up for the subpar food and...
Read moreThis place is an absolute joke. Despite the restaurant calling to confirm my reservation hours before the reserved time, my group and I still had to wait a while to be seated. The hostess appeared to have no knowledge of the restaurant or what she was doing. What I noticed right of the bat is that there are no regular tables and it seems that everyone was seated at Teppanyaki stations. The Izakaya (small plates) menus seems to have disappeared from the restaurant despite them advertising it at the entrance of the restaurant. What I am about to say next is very important. If you are a group of 3 or less, you will be seated with complete strangers (yes, shoulder-to-shoulder). What makes the restaurant think that I want to be surrounded by strangers after a crowded theme park day? My group and I brought this to the waiter's attention but received rudeness and attitude for asking if we could sit by ourselves or have space between other customers. We were treated like they paid us to eat there, not the other way around. Unfortunately, my group and I felt that our time and money may be worth more someplace else, so we walked out. I do not recommend this place until something is changed or improved.
Note: This restaurant only opens 2 days a week and does not have any take-out menus or...
