Hungry Howie's Pizza & Subs — Restaurant in Florida

We will never, EVER, order from this location and perhaps Hungry Howies at all again. We ordered a few days after hurricane Milton hit. We placed our order online and were charged 3 separate times. Money was already tight and this effectively cleared our bank account. When we picked up our order we were told the issue would be refunded that night when they closed the tills. Next day no refund. Call in and was told the manager was too busy to speak to us. Call corporate and they say it’s independently owned and nothing they could do. Call again and the worker tells us that it should be refunded Monday or Tuesday as the banks are closed, which sounds like BS to me since this all electronic. No help whatsoever.

Aside from the charges, the items were all cold and incorrect. We ordered light sauce extra cheese and neither was correct. We ordered extra blue cheese and got ranch. And the store was a mess with employees yelling at each other and no clear direction.

I would avoid this place...

If i could give a negative 5 i would. My pizza was delivered with a fly baked on it. I called the store and was told to “hold on.” He laid the phone down and apparently went about his business. After waiting 15 minutes for someone to come on the line, i drove the fly infested pizza to the store. (Still “on hold” the whole time). Upon entering the store, i could see the phone laying off the hook. The kid behind the counter grabbed an older lady when i asked to speak with the HNIC. She then proceeds to blame the dead fly on another employee that had just backed her into the corner. Not sure what is going on, but i am a loyal customer new to this area and i will not be back! So unsanitary and unprofessional. After getting a refund and leaving, the phone was still off the hook so I can hear the old woman shit talk her job and customers (myself). I called to order carry out and was placed on hold for over 10 minutes. (And not just on hold, the phone receiver down and I could hear all the employees talking and it wasn’t shop talk, they were not busy at all.) I started to drive there since it was a carry out anyways, and I was pulling into the parking lot, I was hung up on. I was upset and expressed it when I went in. There was no accountability, only senile and then they blamed their delivery driver (who left as I was walking in. They also got irritated with me because I was irritated.) So I asked for my money back. A girl came to refund me with an attitude, and couldn’t figure it out, so she called for a girl named Samantha for help. Both those girls were very rude.
