I’m am just shocked on how they stay in business. Very poor management. let me explain... I called in and ordered from hungry howies at 5:45pm and was told it would take an hour to an hour and twenty minutes. No problem I understand there busy. So after waiting two hours I desided to call. I was then put on hold and shuffled around for seven minutes while they tried to figure out my order. They then told me they where contacting the driver. I wait a couple more minutes and a gentleman gets on ththe phone and tells me they had “ a change in management and my order had been lost. They will get my pizza to me ASAP “ I said Ok and before I could say anything else I was hung up on. The driver shows up with my pizza around thirty five minutes later. ( all said and done it took about 2hr and 40 minutes to get me pizza ) I could tell by the drivers face he knew they messed up and was very nice and apologized. I told him I know it wasn’t his fault at all but I’m very upset. I have 3 small children that had been waiting and waiting for this pizza. My 3 year old was so excited he was running around yelling pepperonis for every after I made the order. At this point it’s 8:45pm and he was supposed to be in bed by then. I asked the driver if they could at the least offer a discount or free pizza for there mistake!? He said he couldn’t but he could ask his manager. I said ok I would really appreciate it especially considering this is the SECOND time this has happened. He called his manager and then came and told me... “ my manager said NO! No discount or anything, we are busy and it is what it is.” I then asked “ are you kidding me? The diver was very appoligetic and said he didn’t think it was right either and that he was very sorry but it was out of his control. I then gave the driver a cash tip and told him I understand it’s not your fault but I appreciate you and thank you for trying. I told him I didn’t want the pizza though and to take it back and tell his boss I want a full refund. I’m in management my self and I would never treat I customer like that and always take care of my customers especially if there was a mistake on our part! I strongly urge Hungry Howies in New Port Richey to get new management. I am not the first customer to have these issues. They just lost a customer and two of my neighbors will not order from them again after seeing...
Read morePlaced an order online, got the alert that it was ready for pick up, I didn’t leave early to go get it I actually waited for their system to say it was done and ready. I got there and they can’t find the order. One of the girls said “oh I never made that one”, So I had to sit around and wait. Then a young lady who works there tried to give me someone else’s order, which I had to explain wasn’t mine, to be told mine would just be a little while longer. After a bit I asked about my order again, and the girl grabbed it off the shelf where it had been sitting for a Quite a while already, meaning I didn’t actually have to sit around waiting, instead it was just wasted time letting food get cold. The girls set the boxes down on the counter told me everything was done I took the boxes and left. Got home to realize they gave me the wrong order. What I had ordered was a large chicken Parm pasta with sausage, what I got, was a small penne with sausage. So I called them to To ask if they would remake my order. The girl who actually gave me my order, straight lied to me on the phone. Telling me that whoever it was that gave it to whoever it was that picked it up verified that it was correct. Of course I called her out, reminding her that it was her who gave me my order, and it was I who picked it up, and that she did not verify it. She then said, “What ever, I’m not helping you anymore” and hung up on me... So I called back to speak to somebody else, asking for a manager. Of course the kid who answered the phone says he is the manager. I explained what happened, he said he would remake the order but I would have to come and get it. Not five minutes go by, and I get called back by yet another person from the store on a different phone number, who told me that they think I am just trying to get something for free, and that they would not remake my order, or give me a refund, and they will block my phone number So I can’t call back again. Read moreJuly 1st I placed the online order through my hungry Howie's account as I usually do at least twice a week. This was the 1st time ordering from this specific location I usually order from the one off of ridge road in new port richey. I was sure to order it 45 minutes before my lunch break as I only get a 1/2 hour lunch break and I've never had an issue with late delivery. This time however I used the location on grand boulevard after a hour and 15 minuates had lapsed from the time of my order I gave the store a call to check on it as isn't as per hungry how we track I will track Is my order, it still showed it was in the review process. Sue answered the phone who claimed she was the manager. I politely asked Sue about my order and she replied with an attitude that she doesn't have a button to update how we track my order And she doesn't know why people call and ask her about that feature on the hungry Howie's website. Naturally I became upset that she had an attitude while I was calling about a order a 1/2 hour late at this point. She told me she only had one delivery driver Which turned out to be true I confirmed with the delivery driver when he got there. He was quick to apologize and explain the reason why he was late is because Sue doesn't have her act together and is sending him On deliveries Without much water and was having him to return to pick up deliveries within the same area. I explained to Sue that I only had a 1/2 hour lunch break and that my time was about up and asked for a credit on a future order she told me she could not do that for meAnd that delivery times ran from 45 minutes to a 110 minutes.
