I also pass by this place when I'm in Gainesville every now and then. I had been meaning to try it when I had time and that was a couple nights ago. I'm not sure what I expected going in but it was a surprise. It's actually a very nice place. I like the way it's decorated. It's interesting and colorful. When I got to the door I saw there was a special on tacos. $9.99 for two beef tacos, salsa and chips and a drink, I believe. I wanted chicken so I asked the lady at the counter and she told me it would be $16 if I got chicken so I stuck to my original plan which was to get wings. I got boneless wings and a draft Miller lite for $5. I thought she had said the price wrong at first, but she said it was happy hour and the price for the wings and the beer really was $5. Quite a bargain. So I asked her for mild wings with blue cheese dressing and when it was ready she brought it to my table. Really can't complain about that. The wings were good, although little spicy. That's the only thing that surprised me. I asked her about that and she said yes even their mild wings had a little bit of spice to them. She said they could make up milder wings with the combination of other ingredients. No big deal. The wings and the beer were quite good. Ordering them was a little strange. I am an adult very clearly, and she asked me with a rather odd tone if I was planning on taking the beer with me. I think I'm old enough to know you're not allowed to take alcohol away from a restaurant. She also asked me if I was going to take the wings with me. The only thing I can assume from that is it if you don't eat it there you're not getting the special price. I told her of course I was eating it there and I pointed to the room I was going into. I won't say it was actually accusatory, but it was uncomfortable. There was some friction going on with the people working there but it wasn't bad. After we got past those two things, she was quite nice. Poured me my beer and got me a lime then brought the wings to my table when they were ready. They were quite tasty with two celery sticks also. I think next time I will order the chicken wings on the bone. I also will try to get the absolutely least spicy wings possible. I walked around the restaurant afterwards. There are no booths which I was hoping for but not complaining. It is quite an interesting place with outside dining. I saw someone say you weren't allowed to use it but the part I was looking at on the side was definitely being used by a couple guys. Overall it's a pretty nice atmosphere and the food I have tried so far has been good. I've seen complaints about other food. Kind of was wondering what people were expecting for $5. I actually thought it was quite a bargain. Will try again on my way back from Gainesville the next time I am there and maybe will get the tacos although I'm not favorable to beef. Not a bad place. I would definitely recommend trying if you're not expecting...
Read moreOn March 12th, I called and placed an order for a regular hamburger, fries and a drink combo. I said to Debbie several times to please make sure that the hamburger is well-done. I picked up my order and headed home. When I bit into my sandwich, the hamburger was "RED/PINK" in the inside. I called the NW 39th Ave location and reported my concerns to Debbie who was very defensive and unprofessional. Instead of her talking with the cook in the back to explain my concern, she offered to put the cook on the phone to speak with me.... Really!!!! Why should I have to tell the cook what they didn't do right, that's the manager's responsibility. The fries were fresh and the drink was pretty good. I didn't expect that kind of service because normally I order wings and they're delicous. During this visit, the customer service was unacceptable because the the hamburger was raw which wasn't what I ordered. #unhappycustomer #cooksneedtraining
RESPONSE: First of all, You/Debbie went to a defense mode so quickly, I do not recall you asking me how could you make it right. Next, when I called to report my concerns about the hamburger, I was not yelling but tried to explain the condition of the hamburger and that it wasn't the way I ordered it. When I told you it was pink inside, you immediately took offense and acted like you didn't understand what I was saying; I had to say it more than once. Next, yes, I did check my fries because I wanted to make sure they were fresh and not cold or stale. However, I DID NOT tell you that I would check the hamburger, but I should have cut it in half before I left; lesson learned. Next, the hamburger was not cooked to order so there was no need for the cook to speak with me. There was nothing to explain. It was not well-done. It was pink. Lastly, Debbie you're correct; there's more than one side to a story but one thing we do know is that, I placed and paid for an order which included a hamburger to be delivered as well-done but it was "half-done" and when I called back to report my concerns, unfortunately the staff didn’t receive it in a positive manner. That’s not an...
Read moreMy final edit: 352 delivery confirmed he talked to me but here I am ordering from him again today.. even though you said I’m “blocked”. You had three people check one burger - that in itself says enough about the honesty of a single person you have on staff here.
Hurricane BTW has accused me of taking toppings off in the photo, but as you see, there are no indents in my bread or cheese... Ive never asked you nor 352 delivery for a refund, even in this review. On top of that I just spoke to them and they don’t recall talking to you. Just because you’re too inadequate to run a decent business (3 people checking one burger?? Seriously?) doesn’t mean my exp is discredited.
I called ahead of time to insure I had an appropriate amount of toppings as I have not in past with delivery. I spent $40 on one burger delivery and still have to construct my burger s it just came with extra and the burger itself was still inadequate. Spoke to manager and she confirmed she saw my burger and it was given enough toppings. Then she called back and left a voicemail saying the burger I got hasn’t been delivered. Below are photos of my burger and toppings included. After spending $40 and calling ahead, why is this an issue?
EDIT: you’re referring to the fresh lettuce that I have a photo … of me holding over my burger? That fell onto it? Look at the cheese… does it look like it was indented by missing ingredients? You’re dishonest and lied about 352 delivery saying bad things about me and blocking me which says enough. I just called them. I never asked you for a refund so I gain nothing from posting this besides awareness. You are being super paranoid to think a client would remove toppings.. just to be mean? No wonder you’re struggling. And honestly - the fact that I didn’t touch my burger and you and 3 people checked it and it still came out like this is hilarious. ...
