I Love NY Pizza & Subs — Restaurant in Florida

This went from the best pizza in the area to the worst. We ordered the same two pizzas every Wednesday for just shy of two years. Somewhere around November 2021, the quality started to slide. December was a rough month but, I never expected it to be as bad as it was on December 29th. On Wednesday, December 29 2021, I had the worst pizza I have had in years. The topping were horrible, the cheese was Improperly melted, the crust had a taste of egg and flour, and the pizzas were poorly balanced. Soggy crust in the middle and one side was an undercooked mass of dough, the cheese was an oil slick and tasted old with a gritty texture. Recipes are not being followed and I assume it is due to new staff because, this pizza was phenomenal. I have to assume that the owners are unaware of this drop in quality. The BEST pizzeria in Orlando, and a true locals spot. They have the best value and prices I have seen for great pizza and other Italian-American fare such as stromboli and calzone. But regardless of price, this is the best pizza your mouth can sink into in all of Central Florida, PERIOD.

The slices have a crunchy texture and the sauce is a hearty flavor, the dough is fresh daily, the cheese is top quality, product they have is fantastic, the service follows suit and is wonderful as well. I always get the 14' large cheese pizza (shockingly only 5.99), an original, I ask for thin crush because that's my preference, but I would eat any pizza from this PIZZA HEAVEN because I know it will not disappoint. The staff is laid back but the service is quick. If they changed their name to "The Best Pizza" tomorrow, they would surely live up...

Usually go to the same pizza places in the area so wanted to try something different. I was pleased with the food and the prices were decent. It was $23.99 for a large one topping pizza. 10 wings and Garlic knots. Also got a small fire. No complaints on the food all was very good. Wings were nice and crispy just the way I like them. I gave 4 stars because the place did not look well kept and could use a deep cleaning. There was also a man sleeping in the booth with half his body hanging on the floor. A worker came over and kept kicking him telling him to wake up. Very odd. If I had children I would think twice to leave them in the car if...
