Kennedy Chicken & Grill — Restaurant in Florida

I was in the mood for chicken wings. Simple crispy fried wings preferably without sauce. I decided to turn to Google for advice on a location because the spot I had in mind was some distance away. Google brought me to some yelp reviews and this place was number one. I looked into it a little deeper and I discover that it's not a too far away. From the reviews I didn't see a ton of stuff rating the wings but everyone buzzed about the chicken in general. A short drive later and I was entering a place that looked much like the shanty digs you can find all over NY city. I still maintained my hopes because those NY spots are not all rubbish but many of them are gems; plus the reviews about this place are still fresh in my mind. The first thing I noticed about Kennedy was it's organization. Everything had it's place: sauces were neatly stacked, condiments were meticulously arranged, and prepped food was wrapped and set in it's particular place. I ended up getting the chicken over rice dish. The chicken was super crispy, tender and juicy inside, amazing flavor; this hit the spot! The rice was a delicious accompaniment. Called my order in at 1:23 pm (due to working and having a limited lunch time and wanted my order ready), arrived at 1:45 pm (after being told 10 to 15 minutes my order would be ready). At 1:55 I asked the status of my order and was ignored. At 2:10 pm I was given my order which was not even correct. It took a whole hour to get my order(which means I spent my WHOLE lunch break waiting on my food with no time to eat it). When I requested a refund while waiting I was told no. Guy running the register was rude and disrespectful to anyone asking questions. He also was using profanity frequently(particularly the F bomb). When asked to speak to management, one employee pointed to another. When I approached that worker he said he was not the manager and no one could tell me who was. Can we say SHADY!!! I will never go there again. NEVER!!! Worst customer service ever!!!!! Chicken wings over cooked, received a chicken gyro instead of beef. Fries were soggy! Online prices do not match in store prices...NO NO NO NEVER AGAIN!!!! Worst take out...

Best wings and fried chicken, GET THE WINGS. They have flavorful basmati rice, and assortment of typical side dishes and the best nuggets, fresh salad and some desserts. Hidden gem, hole in the wall place with incredible food. Amazing experience. Crowded parking but people go in and out. Lock your doors. There are some small tables to eat there. Faat service. Great selection of sauces. We order every month, we call it in and it's fast and never a problem. The food heats up incredibly well and always a available. We have been buying for Thanksgiving and Superbowl for last 5 years. The wings are juicy and crunchy. The nuggets are perfect. The gyros are a tad bit salty but the homemade white sauce is incredible. I get a salad and it is always fresh! The rice looks plain but the flavor and texture are so amazing! I will suffer a high glucose reading anytime for it. It isn't in the best area at all. But would gladly get food from here every single time we are around.
