I made the mistake of calling this place to ask if their serving sizes were for a pint or a quart... they seemed to have trouble answering the question but the reason why became apparent as soon as I actually went to pick my order up: their actual serving size per item is approximately one f*ck ton.
For $30 I now have enough food to serve a small village, or in my case, enough for me, my girlfriend and my dog for the next week or so.
Supposedly their wonton soup only includes 3 wontons for $4 though? I didn't order it but that was what I was told, not sure why that would be so little, but there fried rice and other regular fried food options are of both excellent quality and ridiculously huge serving sizes, so if you're sleeping on this place you're not getting your money's worth wherever else you're getting Chinese takeout.
Oh speaking about serving sizes, the egg rolls here are about as well endowed as the rest of Pine Hills, if you know what I mean... they're huge, what I'm saying is that they're huge.
If you haven't tried them yet and you're trying to decide between here and anywhere else, just do the order from here and enjoy having both a full fridge AND still having money left in the bank....
Read moreThis used to be one of my favorite restaurants. I don't know who bought it out, but I just tried them and I will never go back again. The person on the phone could barely speak English and spoke so low I couldn't understand anything. Then my son picks up our order and we were charged more than the advertised on line price by $3.00 per order for one sweet and sour chicken combo and one sesame chicken combo. I asked for a side of honey garlic sauce, and received something not even close. It was some kind of thick brown sauce with a ton of garlic and NOT an ounce of honey. The chicken was tiny little over cooked pieces that were almost impossible to eat, and the sesame chicken had the same sauce as I was given on the side. I also ordered crab Rangoon and they were no bigger than a fifty cent piece and also almost impossible to eat due to over cooked. Food was absolutely terrible and cost me $49 and some change. What I should have done was took it all back and got a refund, but I had hungry kids that had already waited long enough to eat. I just know now were NOT to ever go back to again. Whoever bought this restaurant, ruined one of the best Chinese restaurants in the Winter Garden Rd. Area....

My hard earn $40.00 could never ever go to this business ever again They need to Try a new venture because this is not it. Shut the whole business down ………For over 12 years of being a Hong Kong customer to this garbage place. I want my money back or I am going taking them to small claims...
