I give it a ONE because I can’t give ZERO! It’s sad because it’s not even the store in a whole it’s JOYCE! I wanted to rent a bed and frame from her, she called me three days in a row from when I originally started my online app(mind u at the time I was just browsing to see better deals) I felt SOMEWHAT pressured so I went ahead with the purchase. Upon purchasing she made it as if I was approved and took my PAYMENT. After which the phone conversation was over! No delivery date was giving nor additional information, I called back to get that info which she assured I would get my bed set 10/16 between 2-6pm while the day before she and somebody else called me saying they needed additional info which as u can imagine had me thrown off because prior she stated I was approved and took my payment. Long story short the day of me and my spouse went there to sign papers to have the set delivered she wasn’t there AFTER SHE STATED SHE WOULD BE.anyhow I called back a hour after I left and spoke with joyce(exactly she appeared like magic) she goes on with a attitude to tell me that I wasn’t approved she trying to approve no(mind u she had my payment for over a week atp) I returned the attitude because she must’ve thought I was a little girl the way she was talking! I ended up cancelling my order and asking for refund(it’s been a week now) I called today she yet again had a attitude I asked about my refund she states I was pose to come in and slide my card(she didn’t give me that option) I told her I wasn’t told that she said cause I didn’t ask! Like lady be real how would I know that if I used my card over the phone with you! She is by far the worst and honestly things on my end for her could have went a different way(take it as you may) I plan on getting my refund soon or starting a lawsuit for misinformation as...

My interactions with rent a center since the new store manager have been deeply disappointing due to the unprofessional conduct I encountered. I will not tolerate harassment in any form, yet that is exactly what Im experiencing. Sean was a great manager he was very understanding he actually talks with some sense. What was most alarming was the unnecessary escalation of a situation that could have been resolved through professional communication.I had been respectful and within my rights as a consumer. I called the next day and I was told that my reference numbers and my landlord did not respond to there phone calls and that they needed new numbers for my reference. For 5 days straight I got the same excuse and never received a call from them letting me know what the hold up was. I only new cause i was the one calling everyday. Anyways im on day 5 and I call my landlord only to find out they never called or sent a fax to my lanlord and when I told them at rent a center they apologized and said she was gonna send it right that moment 🤗 and my references ended up calling rent a center.
