This establishment has always been fantastic and one of my favorites ever since I started going. But lately the customer service I have been getting has been terrible. First off when we entered to order our order we started to confer to all agree on something to get that we all liked and wanted. As we are Hispanic, we were doing this in Spanish. As soon as the employee noticed this, he immediately offered to have a Spanish- speaking employee to help us instead. This offer would be seen as kind and generous, but the way he said it implied that we were not able to speak the language of the country we were living in and couldn't get by. We declined his offer and asked he offered this to us. When asked he used the excuse that he was about to get off the clock and that it was better of someone else helped us instead of him. We let this slide and just ordered our order sat down and waited. As our order was being called, we had no idea it was ours because he had announced a whole complete different name to the one we gave him, as if he wasnt listening to us. Again we let it slide because at least we got our food and ate in peace. As were eating though I noticed that they weren't doing much after they finished doing what they needed to do and instead just sat around, talked, and ate. This isnt bad of course, but when your only customers at that time go to eat and are clearly done you should go ask and see if they need anything. Because ever since they have been very strict about there closing time, less people have been coming in. I had to go and grab my own to-go box without not a single employee asking me if I needed something while I stood there waiting for someone to help me as it usually happens. As I was helping clean up though, I noticed that there was a tremendous amount of grease that they served with the wings that spilled out of the container. We cleaned up the most we could so that way they didnt have so much to do and could just leave. They didnt notice this or apparently us leaving as well, because as we were leaving not even a good night or have a nice day uttered from either of their mouths. Read moreShowed up today Sunday evening at about 9:30pm, store closes at 10:00pm, Justin the assistant manager came up to the counter, he didnt greet, no smile, and frankly my family and I felt like he didnt want us there, we placed our order and told him that we wanted to dine in, we were hungry and were looking forward to some freshly cooked pizza and wings, well he made sure to tell me that they were closing soon, again with an attitude of indiference, I dont understand how people are in management and lack the basic skills for a public service facility. I witnessed a family that came in after us and Justin used the same bad customer service on them and they turned around and walked out, I wish I would've done the same. It seemed like he just wanted to turn people away to be able to close at 10pm exactly.
We,ve had Il Primo before and enjoy the food, its a bit overpriced but you throw bad customer service to boot and you got a bad recipe. I hope upper management can get this addressed and make it a good dining experience at any time.
UPDATE! 3/14/2019 Got contacted by Jonathan Schroeter Director of Operations, who was eager to get to the bottom of what happened the night I was at their establishment, he was very apologetic with the whole situation, and assured me that this was not going to happen again. Read moreCame in today with 3 other families. The 2 girls who were working the counter were extremely rude! We eat at Il Primo at least once a week and the service just gets worse and worse! We ordered large pizza, medium order of wings, tenders & fries, drinks, ice cream and jalapeño poppers…with the jalapeño poppers it comes with ranch, my husband isn’t a fan of ranch and asked to substitute for blue cheese, the girl who took our order didn’t say it would be extra or anything, so we get our bill $78.61 and noticed we got charged for the blue cheese. I asked the girl hey did we substitute the ranch for the blue cheese and she in a rude manner goes WE DONT SUBSTITUTE ANYTHING! Ok no worries….so we are waiting for about 15 minutes and our pizza comes out, then our wings that they just squirted mild sauce when we asked for medium, I went back up there to ask if they could toss the wings in medium sauce and they just squirted medium sauce and wouldn’t toss them unless I asked. Rolled her eyes and then tossed them. If I am spending almost $80 on lunch, toss the wings and substitute the blue cheese for the ranch. We will not be returning!
