Wow! An amazing dinner! Not the easiest place to find but I can help you with that when you enter the marina (pull up to the gate and it automatically opens) head to the left and follow the road to the yellow building. The building has a circular drive in front of it and parking in front and to the side. Park then head into the building with a Suite B sign. It is the closest building to the coast (furthest east). When you walk in, there is an elevator directly on your left that will take you to the restaurant on the second floor. Now, back to the good stuff... First, the service was great. George booked us a table outside when we called about 30 minutes ahead of time. He was also our waiter when we arrived. He had worked for the company and restaurant for 8 years and was extremely knowledgeable. We sat outside looking out over the marina and the water for sunset. It was the best view we have had in Key West! We got the tuna and avocado to start and it was amazing. The tuna was fresh, it was big enough to share, and the flavors were perfectly balanced. We took our two year old and he feasted on chicken fingers with sliced fruit that was great as well. The staff and restaurant was very kid friendly and we had no issues bringing him. For our main course, we had the surf and turf special which was a prime ribeye and lobster. My husband said it was the best ribeye he has had in a restaurant in several years. I snuck a bite of the brussel sprouts and they were to die for (definitely better than what we make at home). We also got the osso bucco which was beautifully decadent and every flavor was spot on. Finally, we got the shrimp carbonara. It was a perfect carbonara and the shrimp complimented it perfectly. Overall it was one of the best meals that we have had in Key west and my only complaint is that I didn't stop eating when I was full and had no room...
Read moreSmall but excellent menu. They fry shrimp very well - honestly, they execute every dish to perfection! Best fritters I have ever had. Well made cocktails. Spectacular view from the balcony. Specials are great too. I had ricotta stuff squash blossoms which were deliscious and the snow pea salad which is now one of my to 10 greatest dishes of all time. Addendum - Latest meal I ate there, off the specials menu, a chorizo burger. Chorizo sausage mixed in with Wygu (sp) beef. Potato crisp and a little sauce on a brioche bun. I don't eat hamburgers very often, maybe once it twice a year, and never at a nationally franchise burger business. This hamburger may have been the...
Read moreOK, I agree with other reviews saying it’s not easy to find. The gate will open automatically if you pull up close to it. Then go left to the nice two story building and take elevator to second floor. There is signage if you look for it. One there, I recommend sitting outside. The view is wonderful and you can watch the boat traffic while dining.
The menu is limited but the daily specials are worth checking out. We had local caught Red Grouper and it was perfect. It is a bit pricey, $$$, but everywhere here in he Keys is expensive. After all, you are eating at...
