All Water Charters — Local services in Stock Island

We were in Key West for the week and the weather outlook was terrible. (When we were looking they were calling for rain every day) We decided to roll the dice and find a charter once we were here if the weather was going to cooperate. The first day we tried to find a guide was a bust. I tried the next day, texted Captain Kyle and had a reply within minutes at 9:00 on a Saturday night. He had the following morning open for a backcountry/flats trip. We texted back and forth a couple times and decided to go. I called and talked to him to confirm and lock in the trip. He was very cordial on the phone and was VERY interested in what we were looking to do on the trip. We met up with him at the marina about 7:30 and we were off. We spent half a day with him and went after several different types of fish, the bite was on early and we had our first fish in the boat within 3-4 casts. I think it took a couple hours before we caught the same type of fish twice ( this was perfect for my 10 year old angler). Kyle was super patient, extremely knowledgeable, and very personable. The highlight of the trip was my sons 4-1/2-5' black tip shark that took him almost 20 minutes to reel in. When we come back to Key West, I'll be booking with Captain Kyle without a doubt. I booked a half day backwater trip with Captain Kyle. First off, boat & equipment were great. He's got a 25' boat running a 300hp outboard. It was clean, in great condition and everything worked perfectly. All the rods and reels were in great shape too. I've fished with guys in the past where it looked like their stuff came from the discount bin at the gas station. Kyle's equipment is top of the line.

What about the fish? He'll find the fish! I told him I wasn't picky, just wanted enough for two people to have a meal. Hit multiple spots, caught a lot of Yellow Jack, Mutton Snapper and Mangrove Snapper. At one spot, there were a few Lemon Shark that kept chasing my fish, so that lead to a few interesting fights. I'm a 4-hr trip, I think I landed 12 fish.

Got back to the Marina, he cleaned everything, gave me a good recommendation for lunch and sent me on my way.

He's a nice guy, gave me a fun day out on the water, and a knowledgeable Captain. If I'm in the Keys again I won't hesitate to book...

We had the most amazing, memorable fishing trip with Captain Kyle. He was vey knowledgeable and knew the perfect spots. He hooked us up with big fish! We caught a variety of fish over 4 hours-3 sharks, a Jack Crevalle, and a Barracuda. I was impressed at how kind, friendly and patient he was with all of us especially our 2 children. He took care of everything for us and answered a lot of questions. His boat is clean and in excellent condition.
