The owner is very rude and disrespectful! Keep getting phone calls from this number that are spam. I tried to call as another business owner to let them know what was going on. She got a very rude attitude act like she was better than everybody and stuck up. Poor customer service poor business attitude. So I have now called T-Mobile and added her phone number to spam or fraud phone, spoof number Just an update a couple hours later. Her husband decides to call me and tries to belittle me put me down and bully me for whatever reason. When I told him the story then he tried to play the victim. Just shows the characters of the owners
Your ignorance is a bliss! When I called I said hey I'm returning a phone call your wife was very rude and everything I said above. You did yourself call back and was very rude. I explained to you or at least try that it was a Spam call it wasn't anybody from your store. Unfortunately you are not trying to listen with your attitude and disrespectfulness! To the point your wife asked if I owned a company. Unfortunately you don't understand what a spoof Call is. So you try to be the victim. Just your response shows people what I had to deal with when I was just returning a phone...
Read moreAte at the St. Johns location today. I ordered the lobster roll with fries, and my husband ordered the fried shrimp basket with onion rings. There was a lot of juicy lobster on my platter, but it didn't include the coleslaw that was supposed to be mixed with it. The bun was a greasy potato roll, same as the ones on the shelf at a grocery store. Fries were good. The Jax sauce tastes like tomato water pickle vomit. Our total came to around $40. You can get a better lobster roll at Cousin's Maine. We saw a slogan on a shirt worn by an employee that said something about bringing a little north down south. As a Southerner, maybe let us teach you how to season food. As a Floridian, who wants to eat cod here?? As for atmosphere, not terrible but there has to be a way to lower or muffle the beeping from the deep fryer(s). It went off several times and was SO loud. Three stars because the place was very clean.
Edit: review lowered to one star after business response. I complimented the fries and cleanliness, yet I received a response of outrage lol. My constructive criticism? I stated to better season the food and control the loud deep fryer beeping at the very least....
Read moreThis restaurant is a beautiful addition to St. Johnâs county. It sits across from one restaurant and adjacent to another. Therefore, itâs sorta tucked away. I think this adds to the experience. Private patio, away from walking traffic. First let me say that this place is very clean upon walking in. The interior isnât anything fancy but thatâs not a bad thing. Itâs your simple down home, come get some good fried fish kinda place.
The food is delicious đ. They have combos which I like because I like to sample just about everything. On my visit I had the fish, shrimp, and fried oysters. All FRIED! Donât judge me lol. My fav was the oysters. They have a variety of sauces and they serve beer in addition to water and soft drinks. Oh, the fries are good good. The fries are peeled potato strips. Definitely try them when you go. Donât forget the salt, pepper and ketchup. Thatâs the Marylander in me lol.
The staff is always friendly and welcoming. From the way they operate, this place screams family business and they treat you as such. Love it!
Parking is free and plentiful. You have zero excuses. Come and experience this gem in St....
