Jenk's Pizza — Restaurant in Florida

This eatery has declined in service and quality. The complimentary bread is flavorless. They fold pizza boxes in the dining area and take up 2 tables doing it. The servers stand around in an alcove and chit chat constantly, so it's very hard to get a server's attention if you need something. I'm amazed they made it 15 years! They had an add in The Mint magazine celebrating this milestone offering $5.00, $3.00 and $1.00 off coupons with no minimum purchase. The coupons expire 12/4/17. Sounds too good to be true, right? Right! When I called, they said there is a minimum purchase of $10.00 and that the coupon is wrong. Tell that to all the consumers who get this edition of The Mint. 12/14/18 Updated review. Pizza delivery and pick up is what keeps this establishment going. If they had to survive on customer service and dining in, their doors would be closed. Dined in 12/14/18, hardly any patrons to serve for in house service. We waited 30 minutes for a chicken caesar salad and a wrap. The poor waitress apologized profusely and said they had so many deliveries and they took precedence over dining in. Asked her to see if they could please see about our order after 30 minutes and she asked the kitchen staff to please get our food. She said patrons have complained all evening about the ridiculous wait time. Asked for no croutons due to sensitivity, staff had more croutons on the salad than chicken. I removed them myself and requested additional chicken for the huge amount of lettuce now that the croutons were removed. Was told I would have to pay for this and the waitress asked the manager to please accomodate us and he said no. Don't waist your time or money here. This manager couldn't care less about pleasing his patrons. Ok, we’ve been here a lot of times and there are times when it’s moving and grooving and everybody does what they need to do , and times when they’re absolutely OFF! meaning you have to wait 15 minutes just to get a glass of wine because they don’t let anybody serve it unless it’s a certain person. I’m sorry but the owners just sit around like there’s nothing to do when they could help. I feel like the music should be on and there should be a better ambience in this place ?! they have their TVs on the same station it’s always sports do you think everybody wants to look at sports do you think no one wants to hear music?? It really could be five or 10 notches better some of the food its really not bad but when you get down to everything that’s happening it needs to be better all around! I don’t know if I’ll go back and I’ve been here probably 15 times in the last two years!!! VERY DISAPPOINTED, too many times! maybe four times out of 15 I’ve enjoyed coming in the restaurant and eating as you see most people come in and take food out! The staff is friendly, but they are more concerned with being on their phones than service. At one point I watch all 4 staff members on their CELL phones then return to work without washing there hands. One guy touched food in the oven without gloves. Another guy came around the corner stracthing his eye then went and touched food in the same oven. Without washing his hands or gloves. The floor is dirty, which if you have a busy place you will have food on the floor, but this is dirty from months of not being washed correctly. You can see the difference against the wall and the open floor. My manicotti tasted funny. Which I was over charged for . It was 11.99 for the dish and salad. Which I was charged 7.99 for the dish and 3.99 for the salad. I had to get the staff off there phones to get my check. I had to ask for a refill of coke.
