Jersey Mike's Subs — Restaurant in Florida

Wow!! Just had the most insane experience at this Jersey Mikes. Placed an online order, received confirmation, went to the store to pick it up and they did not have it. I confirmed the location, showed them screenshots of the completed transaction, and even the online bank transaction. The young man working remade the order but refused to let us have the order without paying a second time. He said that we should just dispute the other charge with the bank (yeah, because that sounds like something I should have to add to my to do list). When I asked for a manager, he refused saying that they were off. I insisted, he told my wife and I to leave. We refused, total meltdown ensued, he called us crazy, we tried to talk logic, he continued to freak out (I had visions of those employee meltdown Reels I’ve seen on IG). Someone said the cops were coming, we were like “great”!

Finally, the young man called the Assistant Manager Lissette (sp?) to come in and help. He told us how horrible we were for making her come in on her day off.

Lissette came in, we went through everything again, she tried to make us pay a second time for the order, then if the other charge didn’t fall off, I could come back in and they would refund it. I said “how about I only pay once and if the original charge falls off, I’ll come in and pay it”. Blank stare. We show her the order confirmation again. She types in the order number and voila! There is the infamous order! Who woulda thought you could find it by putting in the order number?! I can tell you who didn’t think (or know) that…Mr Jersey “Meltdown” Mike (Lissette refused to tell us his real name).

Ironically, during this time, they were comping various food items to other customers and apologizing for the inconvenience.

Lissette immediately refunded our order, didn’t give us our food, and said they were refusing us service. An hour and a half of our time completely wasted. Missed our Church group, and went to the Van Dyke location instead, where they were excellent!!!

Although we were vindicated by the original order being found, we were absolutely blown away by the employee meltdown caused by his own incompetence. And then to refuse us service in some sort of “us vs them” power trip…insane.

Mr Store Owner, I hope you see this and take a good look at the quality of your staff at...

Love the food, but this times they ask me what I wanted 3 times told them a numb 17 giant with mayonnaise and they made me a regular size sub with mayonnaise well I told them it was a giant with mayonnaise not a regular again that’s what I paid for. Well this time since they where making the other half I ask if the would add lettuce and tomato to this one she ask me 3 times more told them since you have a half size made make a the other half with lettuce and tomatoes . ok let’s do this again we’ll she gave me a giant with lettuce and tomatoes not what I ask 😫 I told the young lady that the order was maid wrong again for the 3rd time again. We’ll all this time she had the original half next to the cash register I grab that half perfect now the wife is happy, but funny how they came up to me while I was eating with my wife and ask me to pay the for the wrong sandwich in front of all the customers in the lobby next time pull me aside and ask me be more professional 😡 it sounded like I didn’t pay for the whole food $30...

I recently visited Jersey Mike's and was thoroughly impressed with my experience. The moment I walked in, I was greeted by friendly staff who made me feel welcome. The menu offered a wide variety of sub sandwiches, and I appreciated the fresh ingredients on display.

I decided to try the "Original Italian" and was not disappointed. The meats and cheeses were sliced fresh to order, and the bread was perfectly soft yet sturdy enough to hold all the delicious fillings. The combination of flavors was outstanding, and the veggies were crisp and flavorful.

What stood out the most was the attention to detail and the quality of the ingredients. It's clear that Jersey Mike's takes pride in providing a superior product compared to other sub shops. The service was quick, and the store was clean and well-maintained.
