I was just at this Jersey Mike's location and could not believe the attitude of the woman behind the counter! She appeared to be a manager of some sort, but this was no way to manage your employees. We had to wait while the very friendly gentlemen behind the counter cleaned all the equipment to make a gluten free order. While we were waiting, the woman started our hot sub order. She watched as the friendly gentleman was making the order, complaining loud enough for us to hear that he was making the sandwich wrong. That he put too much mayo and mustard on the sandwich and took it to the sink to scrape it off. Shaking her head in disgust the whole time. Then she threw the knife down on the bread tray. While the gentleman was making our order she was one again shaking her head in disgust as he was slicing the meat as the slicer was not slicing whole slices and he was using two half slices on the sandwich. She then told him that his sandwich was going to be over weight and weighed the sandwich before giving it to the next gentleman to complete the order. Then she said something under her breath. The whole encounter turned us off. So that we paid for our sandwiches and left. Not getting the balance of our order. No one should ever behave this way to their employees. This was extremely...
Read moreOrdered 3 sandwiches....told them how we wanted them. All screwed up. Mine was Philly cheese steak...ask to have sides in container and very little mayo. They put sides in container and when I got home they had sides on sandwich and enough mayo for all 3 sandwiches. It was gross. On other 2 asked for oil and vinegar on side and he was making like our 3 and 3 more for next customer so trying to get paid and get sandwiches wrapped he put everything on those 2 too. All bread soaked and smiley by the time we got to house and we live less than 10 from sub shop. I do not recommend. They make sandwiches the way they want to not the way we want. I spent 46.00 on these subs that...
Read moreSo I generally like Jersey Mike’s. I usually buy a sub for my lunch and while on my way to work which is around 11 am. For the second time now the bread is hard and stale! Now, as I’m sure everyone else does, there’s racks and racks of bread in the background so why is the bread stale? I figure since I go in early my bread is most likely a day old, perhaps? TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE! Nothing worse than hard bread, unless you are having a bagget sandwich, which this clearly not! I can’t tell you how pushed I get when I sit down to eat my lunch right before my shift gets crazy busy only to bite into hard bread!!! Very disappointing...
