I must say, I come to this restaurant quite often because the food is 6/5, the staff is generally great, and its generally a great experience. Based on this, I suggested this place as a potential venue for my friends and I to eat, and I must say that was a mistake in itself because I have never had worse service. Working in food retail, I understand 100% that mistakes are completely normal, common even, and they are annoying, but the way they are handled is what puts a restaurant over the top. My friends ordered a sub, mistake was made, and was even being addressed. The logical scenario would have been to give them a new sub, and we'd all move on. Instead, we are initially told that WE would need to pay for a new sub, indicating we were at fault for a miscommunication, and that the sub would not be replaced. A talk later, this was fixed, and instead of simply giving the sub, an issue was made over the fact that there was a bite taken out of the sub. Eventually, the sub was thrown away on the grounds that "others try to change meats to get both subs". This is what was the main concern was the manager, completely unwilling to accept that there was a mistake made on a busy night, was willing to accuse the customer of trying to falsify information to get food. That is a disgusting practice, something that I personally have faced being a manager at a restaurant myself, and to be accused of this, then not even be adequately addressed of this when asking to speak with the manager is shameful. If you have a strong viewpoint, at least have the guts to face those you accuse of trying to scam you. Poor training of management, very disappointed to...
Read moreI came in to grab a sandwich for lunch when I came in No one greeted me. The gentleman with the braids literally just looked at me as if I had no reason to be in the store. I waited for someone to speak to me and he did not. I asked if he was going to be taking my order he said yes so I told him what I wanted . Another gentleman came to prepare My sandwich was much more kind when I ask for my sandwich to be toasted. The guy with the braids finally decided to speak to me and told me they can’t toast it which is fine, but to have not been acknowledged from the moment, I walked in the store and for you to feel like the appropriate time to speak to a customer would be to tell them when they cannot have something is crazy. I always tip and I chose not to tip this time. Hopefully if I come back in the future, there is better service and the guy with the braids is having...
Read moreBeen going to this location for years (prob over 10 years). I was disappointed when they closed after the fire but was elated when they opened back up. I probably purchase 4 subs a week between my wife and I. Today they may have lost me as a customer. They now charge for cheese on tuna subs. Are you kidding me? How cheap can you be?? You’re subs are already around $8-$10!! Tuna is like $1 a can!!! Now you charge for cheese? Wow that’s petty and bad business. Cheese is a universal ingredient on a sub especially if you’ve included it for years. I’m done with you and will not come back. I’m better served with no extra charge at publix and subs n such and Jimmy Johns. Shame on you! Also I found out this is a location by location decision. Whoever the franchise owner is, sell it to someone with business sense that’s gets it...
