I recently dined at Nawabi Hyderabad House in the Tampa Bay area and, unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. While I had high expectations given their reputation, the reality was disappointing across multiple aspects.Starting with the Hyderabadi Dum Biryani, which is usually a star dish at any Hyderabad-inspired restaurant, I found it extremely dry and lacking in the rich, flavorful punch one would expect and ultimately rotten after a day in the refrigerator. The Chicken 65, another popular dish, arrived at our table soggy and unappetizing, completely missing the crispiness that should define this dish. To make matters worse, the Chicken Fried Rice with egg was almost moldy—a clear indication of poor kitchen practices. The Tandoori Chicken was undercooked, which not only made it unappealing but also raised serious concerns about food safety. Portion sizes were disappointingly small, especially given the menu prices, which left us feeling that we didn’t get our money’s worth. The food overall was mediocre at best, lacking the deliciousness that should accompany traditional Hyderabadi cuisine. The restaurant’s hygiene standards also left much to be desired. The restroom was in dire need of cleaning and maintenance, which was concerning. Additionally, I noticed a fly and dust-covered chandeliers, both of which detracted from the overall dining environment. Service was average, neither particularly good nor terrible, but it did little to compensate for the subpar food quality and cleanliness issues. Given the size of their business, I expected much better.Overall, Nawabi Hyderabad House did not live up to its promise, and I would be hesitant to return unless significant...

If you’re in Tampa and craving an exceptional Indian dining experience, Nawabi Hyderabad House is a must-visit gem. My friend and I enjoyed a memorable lunch there recently, and it surpassed our expectations in every way.

From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by Monika, one of the owners whose warm and welcoming demeanor truly reflected the essence of Indian hospitality. Having traveled from New York specifically to explore top Indian restaurants in Tampa, we were thrilled with our choice, thanks to a strong local recommendation.

I tried the Nawabi Paneer Masala on Monika's (one of the owners') suggestion, prepared in the authentic Hyderabad style. The dish was expertly seasoned with a perfect medium spice level, offering a taste that was both delicious and comforting. My friend, who is a fan of non-vegetarian fare, had the Goat Biryani, and he was equally impressed, calling it a standout dish that made the visit worthwhile.

We concluded our meal with the Walnut Delight, which was nothing short of extraordinary. Its exquisite taste and texture were reminiscent of a cherished Bengali sweet, providing a delightful end to a wonderful dining experience.

For anyone visiting Tampa or nearby in Florida, Nawabi Hyderabad House is a culinary treasure offering genuine Indian flavors and top-notch service. The owners should be incredibly proud of their establishment, which delivers not only exceptional food but also an unforgettable dining experience. Highly...

# Disappointing Experience at Nawabi Hyderabad house Tampa I'm extremely disappointed with my experiences at Nawabi Hyderabad house-which unfortunately led to a loss of trust in their quality and service. *First Visit* During my first visit, I ordered idly and fried rice. Unfortunately, the sambar served with the idly was spoiled, and to my horror, I found a dead insect in the fried rice. This was unacceptable and raised serious concerns about the restaurant's quality control and hygiene standards. *Second Visit* Despite the first experience, I gave them another chance. However, the second visit was equally disappointing. I placed an order to-go since my children were waiting in the car. I was told there would be a 15-minute wait, but after 40 minutes, the order wasn't ready. Upon inquiry, the staff admitted that my order had been missed. I requested a refund, which was processed, but the inconvenience and lack of reliability were staggering. *Conclusion* Given these experiences, I would caution others about the consistency and quality of service at Nawabi Hyderabad House Tampa. While I understand that mistakes can happen, the frequency and severity of issues I encountered suggest deeper problems that need to be addressed. Attaching my bill payment and refund for 2nd visit *Rating: 1/5 Stars*

The food was very good. I appreciate that they aren't afraid to make the food hot! That's why I come to Indian restaurants 🔥 The food was very slow to get to the table. Even the butter naan took forever. We both got masala chai (excellent) and it was long gone before the food showed up. The service was good, they were friendly. They had a variety of different chutneys (some I had never had before) but didn't have tamarind chutney which is standard at other Indian restaurants. I got Pomfrey (so?) Fish which turned out to be a whole fish in sauce and not deboned so you can't see the fish to remove the bones. I was expecting fish filet. It was delicious but be careful if you get this. The place was very clean. I didn't use the bathroom so I can't say how clean that is. But they are great at cleaning up after parties and they have a lot of people working there. Well organized and motivated people working 👍 It was very expensive. I expected it to cost a lot because it's a very nice restaurant but it was a bit over the top. The food was fresh, the fish was terrific and I'll probably go again but I can't afford to go back any time soon.
