The staff and cooks are very unprofessional. My wife, children and I would eat at this place at least once or twice a week for years. Recently I have had some health issues arise and advised to make some slight changes with my diet. A simple request to substitute chicken from the chicken fried rice dish with added vegetables to replace the chicken turned into an entire chaotic/ uncomfortable situation the last 3 times of visiting. This evening when I went back up to the counter to bring it to their attention, as to there being no vegetables in the dish; the guys cooking the food began to laugh about it. I believe the guys cooking knew what they did by leaving out the vegetables as this has been the third time this has occurred with them upon other visits and here now this evening the same thing… The young gentleman at the register said he knows my request and dish from other visits. Even after bringing it to their attention they could careless to consider even making it right. It’s pretty sad this business allows these kinds of employees to work for them whom makes something so simple be such a conflict. We will never...
Read moreIn attempt to save a lousy experience from a restaurant down the street, we came to La Granja, it was pretty good when i came alone a few months ago.
I entered and ordered whole chicken, fries and salad. The salad wasnt bad, the fries were good, the chicken was unfortunately cold.
I brought this to the attention of the young girl up front, and she said she couldnt do anything about it since we began to eat. I was a bit more firm about wanting it replaced, after some bickering amongst each other they grabbed some chicken from a stove behind the drink cooler and placed it onto a plate, i was excited! Finally some fresh chicken, boy was i wrong, they immediately tossed it into the microwave and told me itd be right out.
Honestly, if this is the best La Granja can do than, unfortunately your only way to success at this location is being held back by the service and level of attention to your product.
Ive had la granja at other locations and it has been good, unfortunately today did not leave a...
Read moreWe can't eat gluten or dairy. The chicken super bowls are delicious and didn't make us sick. You get a really nice portion of food for the price- and even better it's good food! The people in the kitchen really know how to cook. UCF is really sleeping on La Granja!

(Soy, Wheat, Dairy, Nuts, Tree nuts, Seafood) A lot of the food is already clear of major allergens, but having that available makes a huge quality of life improvement to people with dietery restrictions and will get them in the door. An allergen menu is the first thing people with restrictive when deciding to try...
