This is a great place to hang out with friends. They have authentic Taiwanese street food along with great milk tea and amazing snow/shaved ice. I like their earl grey milk tea with 75% sweetness. My husband and son loves their mango snow ice. Their rice/noodle dishes are okay, but not the best I’ve tasted around the area.
They also provide fresh pastries and a selection of other cake/dessert. Their bread is a bit on the pricy side compare to some other bakeries, but it’s made fresh and the quality is great. There are numerous times that the cashier stopped me while I was browsing their bread from the bakery shelve just to tell me that they have a fresh batch coming out and he/she would go grab the ones I want from the rack since they were waiting to be packaged. This shows me that they actually care about their customers.
Overall this is a sweet little cafe close to UCF and it is definitely a great hangout place.
PS. I wish they would add highchair and diaper changing table since that would be really helpful for young moms with...
Read moreaverage food with nice atmosphere but way better Asian spots around area and far superior spots for a lunch even in the same plaza. Had a very good feeling about it because a family run Asian restaurant but was dissapointed. Asked specifically whether teriyaki chicken was a big portion and was assured it was, and received a very small portion of good but not special chicken: had to go to a different restaurant to fill up right after. Friends got tea and said it was too sweet. Overall nicely decorated place but very limited seating and some of the chairs are foldables and not comfortable; the good chairs were taken up by members of the family who were lounging around and kinda frustrating that they didn't think about their customers. I mean there is just a lot of open space that could be used for seating but isn't. Pretty expensive too. If looking for a good Asian spot, go to Vietnomz at one of their several locations or even to better restaurants in the plaza like Chop 5 Salad. Not a contender in the...
Read moreEdit: I ordered again this week but did not order the beef stew because I was really worried to be disappointed again. But they offered me another beef stew this time and the meat was really tender as it used to be. I hope they can keep it up!
This restaurant used to be my favorite in Orlando… however, the food quality has been gone down a lot over the past 3 months. The beef in the beef stew was not as tender as before. As a loyal customer, because I really liked this restaurant, we talked to the owner and hoped that they would improve. The owner was nice and offered to provide another beef stew when I ordered there again. But the store manager just put more soup in my original order which would have been fine… but the beef and the tendon was again not cooked well. I had to cook the whole stew again myself. I would expect you get get a ready-to-eat meal when you get food...
