The owner of this store is the RUDEST individual (Ghassan). I'm not able to get to the store so others pick food up for me. On 11/4/2014 called in a specific order which was incorrect when I received it and cost $10 more than what it should have cost. Ordered 3 chicken skewer meal no onion, beets, olives, peppers & soup and was charged $22.44 which Ghassan called me a liar stating nothing costs that much. I have the original receipt. I called the store and spoke to the manager on duty who stated he worked 12 hour days, seven days a week and he would replace my meal. I asked if there would be an issue. He stated no as he was always on duty and given how specific the meal was there was no way anyone could forget it. I called today & the owner stated he could not replace a meal, but would let me "have it for half off". What does this individual not understand about I am paying for this restaurant? No customers is equal to no money to purchase anything, or pay staff. I have brought many people to this store when it was a corporate owned store. If you are going to leave a manager in charge & not work evenings then give them the ability to take care of issues. This owner is obviously too cheap to take care of customers and issues when they made a HUGE mistake. Only after I persisted would the individual replace my meal. He stated "if you just be quiet I give you meal as I too busy". I question if I should eat it because he'll probably spit in it! To the staff run as fast as you can as this guy is cheap and is only going to treat you poorly! Read moreMy wife and I have been visiting this location for a few years now and we enjoy it the food. We know they aren't the fastest but they typically have the food out in a decent amount of time. We usually tip ahead. Our last visit however was not pleasant. Now, granted, they were busy and had 2 tables waiting for food and also to go orders. Again, our expectations aren't to the moon. We figured maybe 8 months on only a half salad and fries. That's all we ordered. We waited 21 minutes and watched three to go order customers leave with their food. I understand commercial kitchens and filling meals in order but we had an order should have taken 8 minutes at most. I had gotten up to get a refund when I saw the young lady with our food so I sat back down. When the gentleman brought our food out I told him it really took a long time for our food. He kist looked ate. No "Sorry for that experience", nothing. He just walked off. Very disappointed as we like this place and even tipped. We won't be back for a while as Cava is right across the street. I see the owner is active in replies I would suggest they have the employees at least recognize a long wait time. Just someone saying something makes a huge difference. Honestly none of them looked very happy. Owner should address this

I can see by giving me four excuses to us in regard to my review what to expect in the future and I can guess you were probably one of the three employees that day behind the counter. I absolutely know you guys do fresh. That's why we visited. No, I don't know how many orders you had. And, yes I know the gentleman who brought us our food didn't speak English. But when it comes to customer experience none of that matters too me. Read moreif i could give 0 stars i would. my mom, Giska, orders from this place all the time. 4-5 times a month. well, today was the very last time. she found SEVEN staples in her food, not one, SEVEN. one is still serious but it's a mistake, SEVEN seems deliberate, and my mom is a black woman and they have seen her in there multiple times. who knows what truly happened to have SEVEN staples in her food.
we went back to the restaurant to show the staff, and we were met with laughter. they were saying "oh, that's so crazy! it's such a long distance, how did this happen?" WE DONT KNOW. you're the ones who made the food! there were two girls behind the counter who were laughing when we were talking to them, and that appalled me. this is not funny. they just kept offering to remake the food which, absolutely not. there were STAPLES in our food.
the manager finally came out and did not even say hello to us. he just put on gloves and looked through our food as if he didn't believe us even after we showed him the staples. he never asked my mom how she was doing or apologized. i kept asking what they were going to do for us if my mom ended up in the hospital and he refused to even look us in the eye. i continue to ask this question and he yells at me, saying he doesn't know and it's the first time ever.
after waiting for almost 20 minutes for them to refund us, i was looking around the restaurant. i included photos of the poor state of the restaurant. who knows if something fell onto the food service counter from the ceiling.
