I wanted to take two friends out to celebrate at a Greek restaurant and instead of driving all the way to tarpon springs we decided to try the Little Greek restaurant on Little road in Hudson because it was closer. We arrived a few minutes early but they graciously let us in before they opened. We sat in a booth and we we're told that she would take her order up at the counter. My friends decided to get the chicken pitas and share an order of fries. I was very hungry so I ordered the spanakopita, spinach pie, dinner that came with pita bread and a Greek salad. We also ordered one drink a piece and to my surprise the bill was just short of $50. I couldn't believe that a soda pop that we had to get ourselves was over $3 each. But I figured the food must be good so I paid the bill and sat down. The woman brought our food on flimsy Styrofoam plates and told us we could get our own plastic silverware on the counter. You read that right, she didn't even bring her silverware she just told us where to get it even though she walked right by it. The chicken pitas had hardly any chicken on them and my dinner was small, the spinach pie was soggy on the bottom like it had been frozen, and my Greek salad had no Greek olives other than one sad little canned Olive in it. When I ordered I had asked the woman if beets came on the Greek salad and she assured me that they did. When my salad came it had one small lone beat on the top of the salad. We ate our lunch and left and not an hour after that my stomach was in turmoil as was one of my guests. Both of us had stomach upset all through the night into the next day. Needless to say we will not be back. It was not a Greek restaurant, it was more like a really bad rendition of a greasy spoon in greek. Next time we will definitely take the time to drive to greektown in tarpon springs. We learned our lesson. When you look at the picture that I posted when you look at the picture I posted of my meal I challenge you to find the Greek olives in my Greek salad. It came with one small pepper and literally one tiny Olive which you can see...
Read moreSo I decided to try something different for delivery because I wasn't feeling like pizza or Chinese. I go on grub hub and see the "Little Greek Fresh Grill" and thought what a great idea. I haven't had a gyro or baklava in a few years. So I place my order and with in 15 minutes I got the email saying my order was being made and to expect it by 2:45 which turned into 2:55 and then 3:00...So 3:08 rolls around (I placed my order at 1:45pm) and I call them. I tell the girl who answers I'm checking on my order I placed online approx. a hour and a half ago. Her responce "oh we haven't been online all day and yea no we didn't get your order". Kinda interesting since grub hub sent me a email when they got the order and again when they were making it. I will never order from them again and if your hungry and don't want to roll the dice then I suggest you don't either.
So within minutes of posting this review they posted a responce. I guess that means that while ALL Day they were not online they got online in time to see the review. I would also like to point out that the reason they gave me when I called "we never got your order due to not being online today" was completely different that their responce to my post. Which was sometimes they don't get orders placed on grub hub until an hour after they are placed. Seeing as I placed my order at 1:45pm and called them at 3:07pm this still...
Read moreJust called to order to go and the young girl on the phone was incredibly rude. I don’t eat dairy or eggs and was asking what was in the Greek dressing, first of all she said she’s not going to list everything in it. I said that’s fine are there any dairy or eggs? She said it’s dairy free. I said great how about eggs? She said “well eggs are dairy, so no.” I said no, eggs aren’t dairy. She replied with “yes they are are you seriously going to argue with me right now?” I said are you seriously going to argue with me, I’m the customer. Dairy comes from cows and eggs are from chickens. I’m vegan so I look for this stuff all the time. She continued to try and argue with me I had to ask multiple times for her to just take my order. Finally she said in a sarcastic voice “alright eggs aren’t dairy you’re right” and was snobby for the rest of my order. I asked for the Greek potatoes as my side and she told me they have butter. I said ok never mind. She says “yeah I thought so,” then asks if there’s anything else I’d like. I said yes, a better attitude. She replies with “well I’m a millennial so probably not gonna happen.” I’m also a millennial and she is the reason people think poorly of us. I hung up the phone after that. I did get a call back from a nice man apologizing and I will be happy to take this review down if she is fired. Can’t believe someone would act like that at work or...
