Hey folks if you're really looking for a new innovative comfy and eclectic place for amazing Mexican food you need to try this La Mansion restaurant. These wonderful people that work there and the food is extraordinary and since opening in December of 2024 and judging by the amount of traffic running in and out of the restaurant while I was there for 2 hours seems to be very positive for the future of this establishment. The menu is extensive, with all the menu items being typographically clear, and is presented to the guests at the table in an approximate 14 by 11 laminated menu clear pricing, and clear explanation of all the extensive list of dishes. From single serve entrees to combination plates, at first looking at the menu could possibly be a little overwhelming, but when you realize all the major selections including vegetarian options that are available, it's obvious that the management put a lot of effort into creating the menu and the items that are served in this beautiful restaurant. At our table we had the chicken soup which was almost like totally filled with shredded chicken amazing shrimp tacos and a taco salad and hopefully everybody's favorite that is reading this Frozen ice cream. Yum. This is a personal note I think it's really excellent that there is this establishment in town located on Little road in New Port Richey. Right next to Integrity car service, and tonight the restaurant is open until 11:00 p.m. eastern time Saturday. Supporting small business in a wonderful town and in our county of Pasco is very important for the community as well as the people who are striving to make a name for themselves in no matter what business that they are I feel very passionate to be part of notifying and informing the community as I have for several years about all these experiences that I have and tonight's experience was amazing to me and my family.Check the reviews on the web as I always suggest and thank you for taking the time to read this my friends. God bless all...
Read moreI recently visited this new Mexican restaurant in the area, and overall, I think it has great potential! The atmosphere and decor are absolutely stunning—clearly, a lot of thought and investment went into creating a space that’s clean, welcoming, and visually impressive. From the intricate tile work to the nice tables and chairs, it’s a place that feels upscale yet approachable.
However, one thing that felt a bit off was the music. It leaned more toward classical/spa relaxation music, which didn’t really match the lively vibe you’d expect from a Mexican restaurant. A playlist with authentic or upbeat Mexican music could really enhance the experience.
As for the food, my friends and I started with the trio dip appetizer. The salsa was very tomato-forward and mild, which might appeal to some, but it lacked the spice and bold flavors I typically associate with a great salsa. The guacamole was okay—not bad, but not particularly memorable—and the pico de gallo was decent, though it was clear the onions hadn’t been freshly chopped.
When it came to the entrées, the food was generally good, but one of my friends was surprised by how different their meal was from what the menu description had suggested. She ordered the Tropical Salmon which was described to have a pineapple relish and her salmon came out in a boat , swimming in a red sauce (very similar to a sweet & sour sauce you would find at a Chinese restaurant )and no pineapple relish at all- it also was not fully cooked!! That said, I’m eager to return and try other dishes, as I think they’re still finding their footing with the menu.
This place is definitely a welcome addition to the area, and I hope they iron out some of the small kinks because it has all the makings of a local favorite. I’ll definitely be back to see...
Read moreWe went to dinner here on a Saturday night. First off, I think the space is beautiful, very nicely put together, love the choices in designs especially the water glasses. Our waitress was not the best, she seemed to not know at all what she was doing. We got there before a couple, we were sat before them and yet they already had their drinks and were placing orders before we were even greeted. We gave her the benefit of the doubt that maybe she's new to the waitressing role, I've been a waitress before, no biggie. She gave us our dinner before our appetizer. The appetizer was 10000% not worth it. We ordered the tostones app which was about $15. They were extremely small and didn't taste fresh while the rest of the plate was overloaded with lettuce. our main dinner lacked a lot in flavor for what I want from a Mexican restaurant but the Spanish rice was great and portion size for price was great so overall I give the dinner a good rating not the best but definitely not the worse. The thing that really got me as coming from the restaurant world as a waitress, bartender, and FOH manager , they give a big menu of drinks yet have no real bartender, the waitresses served the drinks, I watched as they made them, a lot were not freshly made, they advertise margaritas a lot but it was all premade and ones that seem like they were were not made correctly. I asked why no bartender and waitress said they aren't fully liquor licensed yet. Don't serve alcohol until you have someone behind the bar fully knowing what they are doing , that's just my opinion. Overall, it wasn't the best first impression but we are willing to give it another chance, especially if they get an...
