A few of us noticed shake a salad, relatively new to the area, and we decided to give them a try. Now they have alternative menu if you want just vegan or if you want vegetarian or if you want a dish, a salad, with meat in it they have all of those to offer. Shake a salad has been open since May of this year and I was very impressed with the cleanliness the amount of food that we received and the taste was phenomenal. The owners and their children worked there and they were super friendly and very polite. They were happy to show us around show us the food menus to explain everything to us and I was very impressed. So if you are interested in shake a salad with anything on it, from chickpeas, to tofu, to whatever you want, they will make it for you. And I believe they said that there was 45 or 47 different types of salad dressings that they make themselves. Everything is fresh and they make it from scratch. I found the atmosphere to be very lively, the café was extremely clean and I highly recommend you give this place a try. You won’t regret it. I’m posting pictures of their menus to show that they have very good prices. They offer handicap parking and handicap friendly tables, there’s plenty of parking and everything is kept absolutely spotless. I was very impressed with this new restaurant and I hope that you give it a try whether you’re vegan or vegetarian or a meat eater or anything in between. You won’t be sorry that you...
Read moreI had a friend pick up my order and the Chicken wrap with my combo meal was good and tasty, but was quite disappointed in my cheesy broccoli soup. Had two tiny pieces of stem smaller than my finger nail . Not one whole piece of broccoli. Picture on their website looked nothing like what I ordered.. what I did have of the soup was very tasty! Great flavor! Although, for almost six bucks it would have been nice to enjoy broccoli WITH the tasty soup. Container was also not filled close to top, I understand not to over fill for safety reasons, but could have been filled higher up and still allowed safe closure of container. I will say, I was very happy to have the soup served in something other than styrofoam and wrap in clear plastic containers. Allows me to reuse them at home after a washing . I hope one day to see foods put into more sustainable containers such as bamboo. Not just for this establishment, but in all. It’s Safer all around and I also think it’s not much more… price wise, than containers that are being used. Over all, I would definitely return and suggest this place to others. I pray that this establishment is blessed abundantly for doing good .. this is just my...
Read moreKind of disappointed and was hoping this would be a great new place to go. $13.00+ for a Chicken Ceasar Wrap was a bit much especially since I didn't think I had any chicken in it until I thoroughly examined it to find a few small pieces inside. It tasted good, but not much chicken at all for the cost. This place looks like it will be a one and done for me. I can go next door to another restaurant and have freshly grilled chicken in a pita with lettuce and feta and half 5x the amount of chicken in it for less money and actually much better tasting. Service was great and the atmosphere was good but just can't justify spending the money for such a small portion and lack of ingredients (chicken). We also each had a water which tasted like it came out of a hose and had a weird taste. My wife had the Cyprus Chicken wrap which she did like but it was a small serving as well, but it appeared she had more chicken in hers. So, after $28.00 plus a generous tip this will probably be our first...
