Local Pie is one of those spots that immediately gives you that “hidden gem” feeling. Tucked into a small location, it has a cozy, laid-back vibe that feels more like hanging out at a neighborhood hangout than your typical pizza joint. When my wife and I stopped in, we noticed right away how everyone seemed to know each other—lots of friendly faces, casual conversation, and a really welcoming atmosphere.

It’s technically more of a takeout place, but there are a few tables if you want to dine in. It’s not full service, which I actually prefer, but just something to keep in mind if you’re expecting traditional table service. Even though we went on a Friday, we didn’t have to wait long at all. We ordered, and before the food was ready, a table opened up—worked out perfectly.

Now for the food. We ordered a large cheese pizza and a 6-pack of garlic rolls. The pizza? Solid. It’s that crispy, thin style—if you’re into that, you’ll be into this. The crust was spot on with great texture and a nice cook. Personally, I wish it had just a bit more cheese, so next time I’ll either ask for extra or go with one of their house specialty pies. It’s definitely more in the lane of places like Miami Slice or Mister O1—this isn’t your typical corner pizza spot.

The garlic rolls were a highlight. Super fresh, and the garlic sauce they come with is next level. If you’ve ever had the garlic sauce from Flanigan’s, imagine that but better—more depth, more flavor, and it complements the rolls perfectly.

If you’re into thin, crispy pies and a neighborhood vibe that feels genuinely local, Local Pie is 100% worth a visit. Grab a pizza, maybe some garlic rolls, and enjoy the chill energy. Just keep in mind the space is limited, but if our Friday night visit was any indication, the timing might work...

At this point, im pretty sure all the social media influencers are paid to give awesome reviews for restaurants and to put them in their top 10 when they really dont deserve to be there..

As in local pie. I went here bc i saw a few influncers talk about how good this pizza was. I saw videos of where the pizza is so big, like Steve's jumbo pie..

So i called and asked what their buggest pie was. The lady said it was 18in... and im thinking to myself that sure doesn't sound like it's a big jumbo pie like i saw in the videos, so i got a pepperoni to see what all the hype was about..

I got the pizza and paid almost $30 for a little pie.. and the pizza was not worth all the hype. The flavor was not that good.... the pepperoni was on the top part of the pizza and not the bottom part as if somebody was picking the pepperoni off and earing it while they were making it lol.. pizza had no flavor and the crust was crunchy but didnt like the texture..

This pizza is def not worthy of being in anybodys top 10 for pizza.. def not a ny style pizza... and the price is outrageous for how small their largest pie is...

I dont think im gonna listen to the food influencers online anymore bc i been to a few places that they recommend and its not as good as they sayit is.. they def are being paid off..

I wish i couldve tried the big jumbo i saw in one of the videos that one looked good but after tasting what they gave me im...

This location is a very laid-back pizza establishment where you can eat inside or outside. it is very small but very warm and accommodating. They're also a bunch of games for kids and adults to play.

This establishment has changed hands very many times in the recent past but new owner Eddie has a very strong opinion of where he is going with his new pizza place.

He told me that very soon they are going to start selling sandwiches as well as Pizza as well as some other fair to have a more varied menu.

In my opinion this pizza is some of the best pizza in town and I am a huge fan of Miami's Best by the University of Miami.

He has apparently partnered with a smoker joint not far away from here called I hate Mondays and they are providing him with meat to put on his pizzas.

Last last time I got a slice he offered me a smoked buffalo chicken pizza. It is literally one of the best tasting pieces of pizza I...

Had some work in the area and this pizza place has been on my radar for a few weeks to try out. Decided to do a lunch since the proximity was too good to be true. We ordered a large pepperoni and some garlic knots. The pizza tasted great and the garlic knots were amazing! The pizza was crisp and the sauce was light and flavorful (not a heavy acid aftertaste). The service was great and it didn’t take too long to make our pizza. We sat outside to enjoy the day and it’s a nice little strip mall tucked away in the middle of a neighborhood. We were so full from the pizza that we didn’t get to try the desserts, but we were told they’re not bad so next time we’ll have to leave a little room to try out the desserts. Overall, this is a great pizza spot and it’s nice to see little places like this pop-up and have such an amazing quality of food.

I really wanted to like this place. I was told to try their pizza so I picked up three pizzas to take home to have to enjoy for a football game. I asked that they not overcook the cheese or garlic knots and unfortunately everything was well overcooked. I told the person at check out that I was disappointed that everything was overcooked and he assured me that it wasn’t. I left carrying three boxes of pizza and garlic knots and nobody helped to open the door for me when I was leaving. And the exit was blocked with outdoor seating for a large group, and I had to wait for someone to move for me to exit. Their pizza is expensive and absolutely not worth the cost. It was dry and not with a lot of toppings and mostly crust. I was very disappointed and sadly I will not return.
