Feb 22, 2025 @ 8:02pm Order #35611 table C2 Server ¿Maria?
The Server was so disrespectful and rude to us it took all I had to bite my tongue. I believe in love and kindness but he was really pushing me to my breaking point. First it took him a while to come to the table but once he did he acted as if he couldn't speak English very well. We did the best we could to place our order with the language barrier. He came with our drinks and just dropped them and ran off. He didn't even give us straws. We had to flag down another server for straws. Some else brought us chips and salsa and we ate through that. Hungry and the food took forever and our male server never checking on us, we again had to flag down another server for more chips and salsa. Finally the food came but not all together. My son's plate had pork on it. I politely asked if that was pork and he rudely replied yes. I again politely told him that we cannot eat pork. For context, I am a muslim woman wearing my hijab scarf. Well that is when the English language came flowing out of him. He snapped at us telling us that it's on the menu and we should have known. Mind you, earlier when he was taking our order he was acting as if he didn't know English when we were asking questions about the menu. I still politely informed him that we do not eat pork and we cannot accept this dish. He snatched the plate away and left us with two of our table of four, they had their plates. Myself and my son were without food. To be expected for my son's dish that was being remade. Waiting another extreme amount of time he returns with my son's dish and also Finally brings mine. He proceeded to scold us in perfect English about how we should have read the menu and how the other food with the pork had to be thrown in the garbage and waisted. Really laying it on us like we were children. It was getting harder and harder to bite my tongue. I don't like conflict and I truly try to empathize with people in any situations but this was just not acceptable. He kept scolding us for a good amount of time inwich he was trying to lay a guilt trip on us or to see if we would brake and start arguing with him at his childish level. I just looked at him and said "are you okay" he snapped out of his rant and replied "yes" and left. At this point my fajitas we smelling delicious and sizzling in a fabulous way however I had no tortillas to eat with it. We waited for another long time to see if he would bring them but he didn't. We again had to flag down another server to bring the tortillas and to refill our drinks. This was my very first and most likely last visit to this restaurant. Our server who was clearly not Maria did not do anything for us and had the servers who were busy with their own tables doing his job. I don't like to leave negative reviews but this man was just so disrespectful I felt compelled to do so. On the way out the door I asked for his name and he pointed to the receipt and the name that was on it "Maria" I said "your name is Maria?" He said "no, Orlando" but I'm not even sure if he was honest about that. I am a disabled veteran and I don't leave my house very much at all. It's terrible that this was my experience on a night out with my family. I am thankful for the help of the other servers who did help us get the things we needed. The food was absolutely amazing once I finally got to eat it. Mexican cuisine is my most favorite and I could have made this place a regular spot. My only bad experience and complaint with this restaurant is really with this server and I fell bad leaving a one star review over him. It was really that bad though and they shouldn't have people like that working there representing their business in such a way. I pray that things change for future guests experiences and this man doesn't hurt their business to...
Read moreWe were in Kissimmee and decided to give this restaurant a try since the google rating was over ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. When we entered the restaurant no one acknowledged us for about three minutes, within that time seven waitresses passed us, did not smile or asked if we needed help. The eight waitress stopped because she thought I was picking up for Door Dash. I told her no, we are here to dine in a party of three. To start we ordered drinks two Virgin Pina Colada’s and an apple juice for our daughter, the drinks were ok. We were given chips and salsa. The chips were warm however the salsa was very cold and water downed with a lot of added cilantro. We ordered BBQ wings as an appetizer, the wings were properly fried because I asked for them to be however my daughter instantly noticed the BBQ sauce had a strange taste. Seems to be homemade which had a very strange taste and not appetizing. My daughter ordered beef tacos, my husband ordered a beef burrito and I ordered a chicken chimichanga. The presentation of the food was very sloppy, which instantly turned my husbands and daughters mind from eating. The rice had no flavor and seemed to be over cooked, the refried beans was steaming but the inside was cold. My chicken chimichanga was burnt, I ate half of the rice and half of the chimichanga that was not burnt. My husband burrito had so much sauce coming out of it, it was like it was sitting in its own soup that basically runned into his rice, refried beans, guacamole, and sour cream which he did not end up eating. My daughters tacos seemed to be rushed, which overall the presentation was not in her favor but she ate them because she was hungry. It took about twenty-five minutes to get our food and the restaurant was not full at that time, as after 5:00pm it started to when we were about to leave. The taste of the food was very bland. The outside of the restaurant was nice however once you entered you noticed instantly the inside was not the same. The restroom did not smell however the appearance needs to be updated. The waitress was nice so we did tip her. We paid $70.00 for drinks, food and the waitresses tip. My daughter feels like we were scammed. Once we were back in Orlando we stopped to a Chick-fil-A to eat which we had all smiles and satisfied. I’m sorry we would not be returning to this restaurant and do...
Read moreFirst time at this restaurant; it was Saturday and it was packed. It's very difficult to rate a restaurant or business when it is under serious stress. What I will share with our readers are observations that no matter the circumstances, these practices can improve the service and reduce stress. To start, there was a list to put your name. Advise 1: Turn Dow the music if you are very busy. It is very hard to hear your name if everyone is yelling and the music is blaring! The waiting area was outside but the hostess was calling out names and the folks waiting outside could not hear because the music was blaring so loud no one could here when they call out their names. Everyone started to push inside and wait and the chaos got worst. We managed to get a two-person tall table at the bar area. Our waiter was very enthusiastic but I could tell he was busy. We ordered two Margaritas (2 for 1) special. They were deliciously great and the alcohol level was enough to jump start my Mercury 75hp outboard engine; just like I like it! :-) Advise 2: Always write down the order, no matter how busy you are! Needless to say, he did not get our order right. My wife ordered "Pargo" (red snapper) with green fried plantains, rice and beans. I ordered the MahiMahi with sweet plantains Spanish rice and black beans. He did not write it down. We ran out of chips and salsa twice waiting for our meals. Advice 3. As a waiter, you should not deliver food that does not look right. Our ordered took forever as our waiter kept running back and forth. My wife's "Whole Pargo" looked like it was cooked in one of the dumpster fires in downtown New York during the winter. The waiter went back to running like he was on fire and we just left him alone; by now he seemed stressed out. We finally got him to stop and we showed him the fish and how hard and over cooked it was. He immediately removed it and went to the kitchen. 10 minutes later the waiter delivered a new, and less cooked "Pargo". My order had Mexican beans instead of Cuban beans and my wife pay the price on our way back home; it didn't settle very well! Lol. The sweet plantains were missing, the fish was covered with all the cooked vegetables that one would use to make a fajita! The food was delicious. We finally left and decided we will return another week day to see...
