I should've written this days ago, but I have to give a special shout out and show of Gratitude to the Barista, Kenneth, who works at this location! It was SUPER early in the morning, I was heading home from dropping my husband off at MCO for his 6am flight (so around 5:30am), and basically, it was that time in the morning where EVERYONE would rather be in bed! Kenneth was absolutely WONDERFUL! I guess my brain just wasn't fully awake yet, because with the mistake being 100% MINE, I accidentally ordered the wrong coffee drink. Of course, Kenneth made the drink perfectly, as ordered, but the moment he handed it to me, I had a total "oops" moment! So politely, and so willingly, Kenneth offered to re-make the drink for me how I had MEANT to order it. I felt bad, so told him it was ok, but he was really so happy to re-make it for me, and wanted to make sure I got the drink that I originally wanted! At NO POINT did he act as if it was a burden for him to do this for me, and he promptly re-made the drink (which was DELICIOUS by the way)! It's this type of work ethic that is a breath of fresh air, and these small gestures of kindness really go a LONG way & leave a lasting impression with customers! If Kenneth was tired or unhappy to be working at such an early hour, he certainly didn't show it!! He was efficient, so very friendly, accommodating and not the least bit hesitant to go the extra mile!! If I were management here, I'd give Kenneth a raise because he showed management skills himself! He recognized my dissatisfaction immediately (which was COMPLETELY my own fault!), and with a cheerful attitude and smile, did what it took to make sure I was happy with my experience there. It had me leaving with a smile on my own face as well, and I really want to give Kenneth a heartfelt "THANK YOU"!! This location is lucky to have such a...
Read moreBuyer Beware. This Wawa is no longer the safe and welcoming spot it once was. I can’t ever pass by here without my girl telling me how she feels unsafe at this particular Wawa. Crime surrounds the area, with a particular problem of drug activity, I’ve seen all sorts of drug use especially in the back..
During a recent visit, I faced a disturbing situation inside the store. A a deranged and intoxicated man was acting very inappropriately towards my girlfriend. I intervened to protect her, leading to a heated confrontation. Astoundingly, the staff's reaction was one of complete indifference. This went on for about 5 minutes. The checkout clerk ignored the entire episode, and the other customers did nothing to help and were in shock. The self checkout was down(unsurprisingly), so I had no choice but to deal with this deranged man and a clerk willing to turn a blind eye, who only cared about making a paycheck.
When I reported this to the manager, their response was equally disheartening. They said they would talk to the clerk. They casually suggested calling the police and offered a insincere apology, showing a clear disregard for customer safety and proper conduct. This incident highlighted not just the external problems plaguing the area, but also the internal issues within the store itself. Employees who don’t care about anything outside of their paycheck. Not even the for the safety of woman in their store.
Don’t come here alone, especially if you’re a woman who is already fearful of the creeps in everyday life. Stay clear of this Wawa don’t...
Read moreI have to say that the store manager is judgemental and discriminates against people who are on bicycles. just because I am on a bike and have a backpack doesn't mean I'm homeless and that I deserve to be treated any different than someone in a vehicle. He obviously doesn't do a good job at paying attention because I wasn't there for a hour and a half. As a matter of fact I came in and spent money got food drinks cigarettes etc and left the store. On my way back thru town I stopped and used the restroom. As I was leaving the store Eric approaches me and tells me I've been there to long and need to leave. I literally was there maybe 10 mins the second time and this man didn't even give me a chance to get on my bike to leave before he is telling me that because I'm homeless I need to go. First of all I'm not homeless and even if I was that doesn't mean I should be treated any different than any other paying customer. Then when I call to complain he tells me idk what I'm talking about about and doesn't have time to hear my complaint. But i guarantee that corporate will have time to hear my complaint and anyone else that I choose to tell to get the word out about how Wawa's employees discriminate and judge against paying customers that are on bicycles...
