Rodeo Diner — Restaurant in Florida

Heard about this place from my friend and after thinking about my previous coworker talked about you guys all the time. We drove all the way to you guys from winter garden one evening for dinner to arrive and find you were closed. Says you are open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Just went there yesterday for lunch and we loved the food, portions were good, but the sides were not even hot. The waitress didn't seem to be attentive to us like she was to other customs. Upon arriving we sat ourselves cause there was no one to welcome us. I told her it was our first time there and instep of making us feel welcome she made us feel unwelcome. After receiving our food she never came back to ask us how was the food or refill our soda and waters. She just sat down with one of the customs talking. The only time she came to offer more soda was when she went to go gather dirty dishes from another customer. When we got up to pay since she never came by go get the cc the lady had to go get our waitress from the back. The worst part for me was instead of focusing on me the customer she was talking to the waitress about some 10 dollars while turning her back to me as I'm signing. I work in customer service and I use to be a waiter myself so I tip well but she lost her tip that day. I was going to tip her despite the service we received but after giving me her back she lost it. We will be back to try breakfast and hope to receive better service. Was looking for home style breakfast this Sunday morning. Really what we wanted was some biscuits with gravy. My baby jumped on line and started looking for some spots that could work. Finally landed on Rodeo dinner here in Kissimmee. We tried it if you're looking for something that looks appealing this is not the place for you. It was extremely hot and the place was packed. Very friendly and inviting, you walk in and sit yourself. Found a booth and was greeted at the table by Wendy our server she is was awesome really can't give her enough praise . We ordered some menu items hard not to try everything from the breakfast menu since it was very inexpensive. But nonetheless we ordered, my bae ordered the steak, egg and grits with cheese with a side of biscuits and gravy. I ordered the create your own 3 egg omelette with home fries added peppers and onions with gravy biscuit. So food came to the table piping hot looked pretty good too. I was super excited for mine looked good and smelled even better. My baes steak was not even edible he couldn't even cut through it unfortunately he had to change it for turkey sausages, he did taste it and said the steak has good flavor but a tough piece of meat. His grits were okay after adding salt and pepper and mixed the cheese in. Now my omelette was good I had onions,peppers, banana peppers and sausage. I was happy. We stopped in for dinner tonight after seeing that a friend had posted that he was here for breakfast. We hadn’t heard of this restaurant before and thought we would try them out. When we parked there was only one other car here at 5:45PM. It’s a small diner where you seat yourself. Another family came in several minutes after we sat down and they were greeted and had drink orders before we even were acknowledged. It appears that they had 2 servers and one cook for three tables. We ordered country fried steak with mashed potato and green beans, grilled chicken with green beans and mashed potato, meatloaf with mashed potato and Mac n cheese. The country fried steak is very thin and the white gravy had a light but odd taste. The green beans were lacking flavor, the meatloaf was dried out and smothered in a nice tasting brown gravy, the grilled chicken and mashed potatoes were good. The Mac n cheese was room temperature but had a decent taste. The garlic toast was our favorite. We came, we tasted and it’s ok if we return but with so many other choices we likely will not. Breakfast might be much better so we would be more likely to return to try breakfast. Once we were greeted, the server was good...
