the food here tastes amazing! The menu needs to be updated though. Under the section of entrées it says that “all entrees come with a choice of….” and then you choose what you want. I ordered the rice bowl entree and the cashier said “that is the only one that doesn’t come with a side choice” i was very disappointed with not only that but the customer service. It was my first time here and I am from NY and wanted to make sure I was reading everything on the menu and asking questions. The cashier did not seem to like me being curious about the menu. I ordered the rice bowl and had asked for pickles to be added and she very rudely said “really? pickles in a rice bowl?” not jokingly either, whilst giving me a dirty look for my choice. the food tastes great and i will definitely be back but the customer service was lacking hard! i understand everyone has bad days but to seem very uninterested with pressing a few buttons on a computer screen and answering 3 questions is outlandish for something as easy as that and getting paid for it! definitely step it up in that area. I am not pleased with feeling like a nuisance for giving someone business.

EDIT: i would like to add that on the counter there was a display for take out menus but there none. I asked the cashier if there were any and without her looking in the back or asking someone else she just said “no”. I would also like to add that the greek “fries” are very delicious but DO NOT expect actual fries like it says, expect potato chips. fries and chips are two different things and although they were delicious it...

The first time I went I gave this place a 5 star rave review! I had the chicken walnut panini, it was hot, toasted just right on the top, flavor was amazing and the service great! Well I went back yesterday with my mother again, it was a complete turn around from the first time, I asked for the walnut chicken panini again, we sat in the same spot, while that was being made I noticed a huge puddle of water nearby on the floor and proceeded to clean it up so my mom or a guest didn’t slip on it, well we sat down and my mom got a ton of water dropped on her head and face, I looked up and the roof or a/c was leaking badly, what I don’t understand is we told all behind the register about it and no one did anything, they did look though and one person said I guess the a/c is leaking, 🤦‍♀️ Anyway, our food finally came, I wish so bad I had taken a pic of it, it was like a greasy grilled cheese sandwich with chicken and tomato, it was not a panini, the chicken salad itself had no flavor and whatever Mayo they used was gross, I took two bites of the crust because I was so hungry, my mom ate her lemon soup and whatever she had, she’s 85, I wont go back, too bad, waste of my money. I gave 2 stars because the lady behind the place where you...

Owners need to read this- You have low ratings and few customers because your pricing is too high, seating is not comfortable or private, and your Greek salads are made with iceberg lettuce. Arrived with my husband on a Sunday evening around 6pm with nary a customer in sight, that was my first red flag. Ordered a Greek salad, spanikopita, and gyro platter plus two fountain drinks and that totaled over $50. Few options for fountain drinks. Hardly any diet or zero sugar options. My salad was humongous and it was as if someone pressed it down onto the plate into the shape of a small hill. Very difficult to eat in a graceful way. To my dismay it was 90% iceberg lettuce (the cheapest lettuce with zero nutritional value). Spanikopita in contrast was such a tiny portion I almost laughed.. In the 45 mins we sat there not a single soul walked through the doors. I was just so disappointed because I really love Greek food and thought this could be a good go to place but no. Everything was mediocre and the room so echoey I felt as though I had to whisper so that I could have a private conversation. Ya'll better make some changes otherwise you will not be in business...

Upon entering first thing I notice is wall mural. Nice tables and clean! Owner definitely takes pride. I was greeted pleasantly by the order taker. I expressed it was my first time. She went over a few favorites with me. I was here for a great Gyro. I only ordered that and a water. Bill was 10.98. Not too bad. Meal was delivered to table. Refill drink station. All clean. 5 tables in restaurant at 12:30 pm on Thursday. Gyro was ok. Pita bread was falling apart. Ingredients were fresh. Sliced tomatoes not chunks. It was warm, not hot. I asked the delivery girl at my table for extra tazikki, to which she responded we charge 85 cents for extra. I declined. Not enough on the gyro. Kinda dry. Onions were crunchy. Personally I dislike restaurants that charge for extra sauce or dressing. The cheapness causes people to go elsewhere. Just raise your price. I felt she could of said, understanding it is your first time here and the fact you did tip on your order I will give you what you request, but be aware for next visit. I will not return. Not impressed. Like I stated it's OK, not blowing me away or wowing me.

Louis M. Pappamichalopoulos, from Sparta, Greece arrived in America in 1904. He shortened his name to Pappas to help simplify life in his new country. During World War I, Louis served in France as an army chef in General Pershing’s “Wildcat Division”. It was there that he created his own version of a Greek salad by adding potato salad to sustain the troops during hard times. In 1925 Louis and his wife, Flora, affectionately known as “Mama”, established the original Louis Pappas “Riverside Café” in Tarpon Springs. With a handful of employees on sawdust floors, they opened their humble café, specializing in fine Greek-American cuisine and the Louis Pappas Famous Greek Salad™. Potato salad at the bottom of a Greek salad soon became commonplace and the salad itself became internationally known. The Pappas Family prospered over the years, sustaining three generations in the restaurant business.

Stopped in for the first time on a Sunday just before noon. About 5 tables in use when I walked in, no one at the counter. For some reason my carry-out order took over 20 minutes before they told me they were out of the avgolemono sauce (for the chicken spanakopita I ordered) and did I want the marinara or to order something else. Once that happened, I had my order in two minutes. Once home, I found my order to be just a pile of chicken, spinach & cheese. This is NOT spanakopita. I've had it at many Greek restaurants prior and it's delicious. This was not. Oddly spiced, too. Will not order that again. Though I might try their sandwiches or salads in the future, I'm not holding out a lot of hope. I'll probably just stick with a local, non-chain restaurant. The place is well located, easy to see, clean & looks like pretty much every place else around.
