Luigi's Pizza — Restaurant in Florida

Well we stopped in and ordered food for pick up and then went to Ollie's to pick up a few things. Well we returned to Luigi's about 15 to 20 minutes later. They said our food would be ready in that period of time. We came in and it wasn't ready so we sat at the front table. Time went by approximately 20 minutes and nobody acknowledged that our food wasn't up until I stood up. We had prepaid for our food and instead of putting it up for preparation they put it in the paid pile and never thought about our order again. Well they found it .....it was everybody else's fault why the ticket got buried in the paid pile. So once they figured it out I was told 6 to 7 minutes. I ordered stuff flounder. I hope it's cooked I said to myself. Well after 22 minutes we got our food to go so now an hour has passed and we watched people come in and go and eat a whole meal in the time that we waited for our food. Well I got my fish home and like I guessed it wasn't done. The stuffing was all in clumps and the sprinkling of breadcrumbs was so salty on the top I couldn't eat it. And I like salt don't get me wrong I salt almost everything. I ordered peas and carrots to go with my meal because I didn't figure I needed potatoes with my stuffing. Well I got those home too and they were out of a can and I'm not sure what the black thing in the middle of them is. So I spent $16 on a meal and you can see I didn't eat much of it because it was disgusting. Also I didn't mention the 8 pieces of lemon it was cooked in. I have ordered food from Luigi's many many many times and ate there before and that was disgusting just disgusting. Okay so enough about the food The part that really irritated me and why I gave them a 1rating is because no one even said sorry or anything to us. They offered us a drink. So I had some water. I just can't believe that no one even apologized to us as we sat in their establishment long enough to watch people eat their whole meal. I'm taking a break from Luigi's cuz many times I would have given him a four or five but not this time. So I'm still hungry thank God my girlfriend made upside down pineapple cupcakes so I can at least have dessert.

After I saw you cash someone out with your gloves on and handle rolls of change and then went back to cooking my food I think I'm good for awhile. Why can't any of you apologize when you make a mistake.... Both of your waitresses blamed each other but never got one sorry..... I will call you tomorrow if you think it would help.... Otherwise it will be a long time before I try again. Very disappointed because I really liked your pizzas and I have had stuffed flounder before and I...

This place was horrible. Went for dinner got salad with our meal they gave it to us from a bowl on the closed salad bar. Ever have a warm salad with warm salad dressing? Not appetizing. Ordered appetizers took 35 minutes for that to come out. Our waitress was rubbing her eyes well taking our order, playing with her sneakers in between customers and never once washed her hands. One girl asked us if we needed a box for our appetizers before our dinner even came out, I said well we're still waiting for dinner she said oh and walked away. When the dinner finally came out I didn't eat any of my baked ziti as their sauce was way tooooooo sweet. But that's a personal preference. My husband got chicken Alfredo it was so so. But he specifically asked if they had Fettuccine noodles and it came to the table made with Ziti noodles. Turns out this Italian restaurant only has Ziti and Spaghetti noodles. And on our way out the door we heard our waitress and another girl talking about how "easy" our waitress was. Needless to say will definitely not be back.

So after reading previous reviews telling management there is a problem only ends with confrontations as you can see from your response. Say what you want it was much longer than 15 minutes for appetizer. I understand what the menu said but we asked especially if the noodles could have been different and the waitress never came back to say anything until food was out. And the salad and ranch was warm. Leaving my review as I do for almost every place I visit good, bad or neutral. I only hope the places I review can benefit from my opinion. This was my experience and if it didn't happen then how did you know who we were to watch the cameras. You knew because I didn't touch my food and my husband barely touched his. 2 bad meals why would I try for another. Have a wonderful day I wish...

This experience was almost funny. I was undecided about where to go or what I wanted to eat. I really wanted just a good ol' hamburger. I drove through the parking lot and thought what the heck, they must have burgers. I walked in and sat down, asked for a menu....and it really didn't have just a burger. So when the waitress came back, I said, "Just give me an order of fries." I sat there and read the entire paper, the Chronicle, from cover to cover. Glanced at the clock, 10 minutes.....the waitress was running back forth, taking orders, bringing food....I tried to make eye contact a couple times, but didn't actually flag her down.....I took out my phone, read my emails, read my texts, answered a few, still so sign of my fries. The waitress pretty much disappeared by this time. The place was not crowded at all, may six or seven others there. I read all the Facebook posts I could, played a couple games, still saw no fries and no waitress. There was an older lady talking kind of loudly on the phone behind the counter for a while. Finally, I just got up and walked out the door. No one said, "Hey, your fries are ready!" Or anything else! I guess that's my last visit to that place! I have eaten there before, and the service was ok, but the food was meh.

Edit: Someone told if I wrote a review of what happened, the owner would argue rather than try to make it right. I was there at lunch time, not in the evening. I'm guess the person on the phone was the person who wrote the snotty answer. I'll never go there...
