Luis Galindo's Latin American 2 — Restaurant in Florida

Final Update 10/09/2023:

All-In this is the best neighborhood restaurant we had after living in 11 different cities, in 6 different States. The food is done without much fat (for being Latin food), always consistently tasty, timely and with friendly service. Great value as well. Too bad we are moving again. Will truly miss this place.

Friendly timely service in main dining room. Amanda was very nice and professional. Food is delicious and great value. Place is clean and good A/C.

Prior Visit: Past 10:30pm this place is always serving food. The folks here are friendly and efficient. Awesome Tamal en cazuela, and great Cuban fare… The Plantain soup needs improvement though.

Great Takeout! Ordered by phone (online seems to be more expensive even if picking up). All ready on time and well packed. The Tamal en Cazuela is simply super delicious. The Vaca Frita good quality and moisty with onions. The Congrí and Arroz Blanco with separate black beans also very good. Spending many years of my lifetime eating Caribbean food, I must confess that this here restaurant has served my cravings on a multi-weekly basis for a long time. Why is that? Well, it's open 24 hours-- sure that's normal for many places. However, what I noted the most was that across visiting at many different hours of the day (I probably ate here 40 times) the quality of the food remained at the same level (very high). Remember, we're talking about Arroz Moro, and plates that need more than just a dash of seasoning. On top of their already reasonable prices & the BEST portion ~ cost ratio I have encountered (especially with their free butter bread, and completely hospitable service ladies) it was no wonder why I had to naturally gravitate towards Luis Gallindo's Latin American 2 restaurant. I've been a customer for +5 years. But their service has decreased immensely. I was there five minutes ago, sat at a nasty table waiting for somebody to come, clean it and take our order (fair to mention I am pregnant and I was craving their guava empanadas).. they had more than 10 waitresses, they all acknowledged the fact that we were waiting and no one seemed to come. My fiance asked a girl if someone could attend us and she just turned her head and kept walking like we did not even talked to her. Every woman there doing nothing, talking, looking at us and no one offered to help and take our order. This went on for 15 minutes and we decided to get up and leave! Horrible experience!
