UPDATE!! 9/24/22 THE BEST SUSHI I HAVE EVER HAD! That kitchen staff is truly amazing. The best. You all put together some of the best quality food I have ever tasted. Thank you! We had one of the most enjoyable dining experiences ever! This place is top notch for sure. Service, food, ambiance…it has it ALL. Jen, the hostess/manager was an absolute gem! She immediately made us feel right at home upon entering the building. Super personality and very accommodating. We got a seat around one of their awesome fire pits. She lit our fire and handed us over to Martin, our awesome server. There were four of us and we decided to order a few things and split everything. We all started with drinks. 3 of us opted for the passion fruit hibiscus margarita. The other got the old fashioned. The margaritas were in the top 3 margaritas I’ve ever tasted. So amazing I had to “taste” 3 of them! They also came with an edible hibiscus flower as a garnish. It tasted like a fruit roll-up! For food we ordered a large pizza with capicola and banana peppers, a burrata beet salad, a roasted butternut and bacon salad with grilled chicken, a small quinoa salad, and a side of fries. The pizza was out of this world and I was SO THRILLED about the capicola as an option! Martin was a true pleasure and we really enjoyed our time with him! Thank you Martin! We loved you! Jen, you’re AMAZING! To the kitchen, THANK YOU FOR SOME OF THE BEST TASTING FOOD AROUND! Can’t wait to return!

We just had our wedding there and had the most perfect experience. We were originally booked at Waverly but with the hurricane damage, canceled due to being unsure of when repairs would actually be finished. We were going to cancel our wedding completely until my parents had visited to help clean up my grandparent’s place after the hurricane. They had rave reviews about Magnolia’s and the beautiful setting and amazing food. They asked the manager if they hosted weddings, and they said not yet but we’re starting to get into it. We contacted them, decided to take our chances and book with them and it was the best decision we ever could have made. Keith handled everything so well. Everything from the amazing food, to the friendly serving staff, and set up and organization of everything was absolutely perfect. Every guest has complimented how impressed they were with the whole place. We highly recommend Magnolia’s (especially for a wedding venue, though currently they are only available for weddings on Sundays and Mondays). You won’t regret it! And may I say again how amazing the food is?? (Photos by Myra Coxey)

Oh my gosh this is our new favourite restaurant. It was only open a week before I left town to go to London. We had breakfast there one morning after yoga on the beach which was lovely, plus the menu was very innovated and tasty. We loved it so much we went back for dinner later in the week. When I get back from London, we are going to take the boat there as they have 4 or 5 slips on the bay. They have lovely high top tables with very elegant fire pits in them, if you go at sunset the sky will be all lovely and pink. The food is phenomenal, the chef is clearly not afraid to try new menu items. Our waiter was so excited to be working there and his passion for describing the food and stories of the restaurant was contagious. He was really, really brilliant, a credit to the establishment, I wish we had his name, but he is about 30 with brown hair and a beard if that helps. We wanted to thank him for his patience with our slightly inebriated, giggly state, bless him he was a star.

We had the pleasure of having dinner at Magnolias on the Bay Sunday evening. We were absolutely thriller from the moment we were greeted by the Valet parking attendant in the parking lot. I might add that there is also a boat dock on the bay in the rear of the restaurant for the seafaring visitors to Magnolias on the Bay.

A pleasant greeting by the hostess before being seated. We decided to do the special dinner for the two as did our friends. We tried the " snake river roll sushi, the shishito pepper skewers and the Charcuterie board which was more than enough for the four of us to share. For the main entree, two of us had the pork chops and two had the salmon. The food was delicious with a beautiful presentation on each plate. Almost didn't want to ruin the picture but then again, we were there to eat. What a pleasure the meals were.

Temperature was perfect, seasoning was not over done and the speed of service from placing the orders to delivery was perfect timing. We were treated as valued customers by everyone. Heather, our server was very attentive while she also tended to the bar and we never had to wave her down for any request. Of course, what is a great night with wonderful friends unless you have a satisfying dessert. That is exactly what we had, a sampler of chocolate cheese cake, key lime pie, creme brulee and something like flan. We were not disappointed and will return to sample more of their diverse menu. Give yourself a treat and make a reservation at Magnolias. There is limited inside dining and covered outside dining with fire pits and a view of the bay. You...

Now i know why this place has so many positive reviews! Everything from start to finish was top notch! I made a 615PM reservation and I'm glad that I did. When we left the place was packed! We arrived on time and were seated promptly by the warm hostess. Our very animated waiter, Joey, soon arrived and introduced himself. He set us up with cocktails first. I had the jalapeño pineapple Margarita that was absolutely delicious! My wife had the Passionate Hibiscus margarita that was also delicious. Appetizers were Shoshito peppers and beef tenderloin skewers and the grilled octopus salad. I've had grilled octopus in many restaurants and I can say confidently that this was the absolute best I've ever had! For mains my wife and daughter had the Grouper special over saffron risotto and asparagus and I had the Surf & Turf. Cashew (I think) crusted lobster tail on garlic mashed potatoes and a petite fillet with an Aù Poivre reduction separated by broccolini. The Grouper was moist and the risotto was perfectly cooked. Delicious! My Surf & Turf was epic! I can't sing its praises enough! Everything about it was perfect! The fillet was a perfect medium rare and the Aù Poivre was rich and flavorful. The lobster tail and garlic mashed potatoes were perfect as well. Surprisingly we had room for dessert. An espresso and a dessert I can only describe as a chocolate peanut butter mousse. It was so rich I had trouble finishing the last bite. But I pushed through because it was so good! I was especially impressed with each dishes presentation. As my pics show, they're beautiful! We'll...

Two different people told me how fabulous magnolias is! I was wicked excited to try for myself. Very hard to get a reservation here… It’s very popular place and I heard the food was excellent. So we took a 4:45 dinner reservation days ago… just to get in. I like eating early so I didn’t mind. Charlie said that ahi tuna was fabulous! So was his scallops. Joan had scallops and said that was fab as well. I ordered the bone in ribeye with asparagus and summer squash cooked medium rare. Expensive but I normally order a salad so I wasn’t feeling guilty for what I had hoped would be an excellent steak. It was beautiful hunk of meat…. But when I cut into it it was very medium. The waitress came by I showed her the steak it clearly was not medium rare so she took it away and brought back another steak… This one was RAW... seriously the Ahi tuna was cooked more than the steak. It’s OK. They don’t need my business… The place was completely full when we left. I put a five dollar tip in the singers tip martini glass. The bill was $187 and we tipped $24 to the waitress. I had a couple of bites of summer squash and III spears of asparagus… Tomorrow I’ll throw the steak on the grill at home cook it for a couple of minutes and I’m sure it will be delicious. I was hoping to find my new favorite restaurant that I could bring all my friends who visit too. I am just disappointed. I love excellent service… I love fabulous food… I love taking such good care of the wait staff that they’re always...
