Terrible service. I had ordered online. The order went through and I got a confirmation number, however before I could save or screenshoot that confirmation, a pop-up came onscreen asking if I wanted to join their rewards program, so I did. However, afterwards the confirmation # did not come back onscreen. So when I went to pick it up at the drive-thru I was informed that they did not receive any such order. So I had to submit another order. Then as I was waiting to get my order I found the original order in my email. I showed the girl at the drive-thru window. She then asked if she could take a picture of the order within my email. I allowed her to do so. They later refunded my money from that first order. However, when I got home with that 2nd order I was disappointed to find out that the pickles that my wife loves was partly missing. There was only the skin of one pickle and it looked as it had been bitten Into. Also my sandwich was not cut all the way through. When I called back to talk to a manager it rang non-stop and no one picked up. I tried calling several times with no response. Finally I opted to place a new call in option in order to talk to someone. When I asked to speak a manager the girl identified herself as a manager. She was the same person that took my order at the window. When I told her of the missing pickles and the half cut sandwich she was completely dismissive of the problem. She was unwilling to do anything to make it right. The best she could offer was to offer me another pickle, but only if I was willing to drive back the 23-miles to pickup the pickle. This girl must be warped if she actually expected me to do that. When I asked for credit for when I came in the next time I was in the area, she refused. I guess this girl doesn't understand the meaning of good customer service and good customer relations. She needs to...

We have eaten here regularly over the past year and have watched as the experience has deteriorated over time. Our visit yesterday confirmed our suspicions that something was afoot.
Apparently, someone in corporate has decided that the ingredients that they used to use were inappropriate on some level, so now they have: replaced caramelized onions with raw ones; eliminated their signature cole slaw and substituted some "healthy" undercooked chopped green, slimy-looking salad for it, while replacing it on certain sandwiches with sauerkraut: instructed the staff to ask if you actually want your pickles (a profit-saving question, I was told); and started using laminated menu cards instead of the paper ones that you used once and could keep in your car. This last probably sounds like a minor choice, but in an area where people from all over the world come in during flu season, it's a disaster waiting to happen. Yuck! It's as bad as handheld sign-in pads at doctors' offices. Who cleans those things?
The main reason we have dined at McAlister's in the past was that they served a fine sandwich on gluten-free bread that wasn't soggy. Now, in addition to changing the contents of our favorite sandwiches, they no longer grill them; they just warm them. Warming turns gluten-free bread into a gloppy mess, so now we have to special request toasting. Even so, I think they may have changed the brand of their GF bread because it was bland and I couldn't eat it.
The best element of our lunch for me was the potato salad. It was creamy, well-flavored, ice cold and delicious. My fear is that once corporate discovers that those tasty calories have slipped through the cracks, they will eliminate them, too. It doesn't matter much, anyway. We won't go back just to have a side dish. What a...
Read moreI just tried this place out and I have been so impressed with the food! It's great to have an opportunity to have healthy food quickly. Their menu selection has a lot of variety and the portions are generous. So far I have only used their app and gone through the drive-thru window to pick up the food. The app is very intuitive and super easy to use.
It was so good coming here that I've been back here almost every weekend since. They continue to deliver top notch service and food. I really appreciate that on short notice, I can have a healthy reasonably priced meal that tastes wonderful! Typically my meals are ready in about 14 to 15 minutes. Whether it's a busy weekend and I need a quick pick me up for my meal or it's the end of a long hard day at work and I know I'll be too tired to cook a meal when I get home, McAlister's deli always delivers. Also they literally deliver to your doorstep if you need the service. And if you're using the app not only do you accrue reward points which you can redeem, the current promotion for this month and last month has been free delivery from them on Saturday and Sunday. So check out their app, their menu and give them a try. The app is definitely worth taking the time to download and use. The rewards are easy to use. You just add the products that you want into the cart and then scroll through your rewards section and click apply on the rewards you want to apply to that transaction. And if you're ordering the "get two" pay careful attention to what you're selecting. While some items are included in the base price, other items are for an additional fee and it does clearly state this in the app so you know just how much you will be paying on the checkout page before you ever get there....
