I love McDs, been coming all my life. Even worked there when 15.
But the one by 87 in Navarre, for all the Christian music etc., has the most careless service I've ever had at McDs.
I stand at the counter for ten minutes or longer, with employees looking at me and then going about texting their friends or ??
I'll even ask point blank, "would you get someone to help me if you won't" and they just walk away and start talking to their buddys lol
I decided if it happened 2 more times I'd write this review, so it's not like this is a passionate upset review. Only upsetting that I have to write it for how passionate I am about the American institution.
To be fair, I asked the manager about it and apparently he has no authority over the kids, just all the responsibility for the whole service and I commend him. I feel his pain and know he is right. He can't fire anyone, can't repremand them. He can only continue to ask them to do their job. This is an upper management issue. Either they crack a whip or many children's first jobs will set a bad pace for the next and their futures are compromised like the manager in duties authority.
What's wrong with the next gen. I kindly ask why I wait ten minutes or longer everytime I come and they look at me like I'm stark raving mad to be so rude. Lol
Do your job, stop texting and chatting while we wait. Two adults handle the whole breakfast rush (have to wait then too, but because they are running their legs off), but ten energetic kids can't get the counter?
Fast food?! And the App is suppose to speed it up lol don't get me started on how it gums it up (but that it actually pays to use it).
It's a sad thing that I am having to go this far in hopes of Costas taking notice, but If it weren't for Carolyn keeping the restaurant clean the health department would probably have to shut them down.
So sorry, so sad. Let's get back to people helping people and less pumping out food for apps and proxy...
Read moreI don’t know what brand of hell this McDonald’s is operating out of, but it deserves to be condemned and bulldozed straight into the ground. Walking in, I was hit with the unmistakable scent of grease-soaked mop water mixed with something that smelled suspiciously like spoiled milk left in the sun. The floor was so sticky I felt like I needed to check my shoes for glue traps after every step.
The staff looked like they’d rather be serving time in solitary confinement than serving customers. Not a greeting, not a smile just dead-eyed stares and sighs heavy enough to wilt the already-sad lettuce wilting in the back. My order took forever, and when it finally came out, the bag looked like it had been dragged across the parking lot.
The burger was a limp, grey slab of meat that tasted like it had been microwaved in a gas station bathroom. The bun was wet not soft, not fresh, just wet like it had soaked up grease runoff from the fryer. My fries were pale, undercooked, and somehow both cold and soggy, which I didn’t think was physically possible until today. As for the drink? Let’s just say calling it “flat” would be an insult to puddles.
The bathrooms were worse than the food, sticky floors, no soap, and a smell so foul it could peel paint. I wouldn’t let my worst enemy use that restroom, let alone myself again.
I’ve been to plenty of McDonald’s in my life, and I know not to expect five-star dining, but this place couldn’t even live up to the standard of “edible.” It was an insult to the brand, to fast food in general, and to anyone unfortunate enough to stumble through its doors.
Avoid this McDonald’s at all costs unless you’re actively trying to ruin your day (or your stomach).
Genuinely the worst customer service I think I’ve ever experienced at...
Read moreI’ve stopped at this location 5 times since I have lived in Navarre the past 3 years. Three of those times were stopping to get my usual: Quarter Pounder with ONLY cheese, tomato, pickle, and ketchup, along with a 6-piece nugget for my pups for our trip to visit family in Alabama. Without fail, my order was incorrect all 3 times. 2 of those times I was shorted on the number of nuggets I was given and the other time there was an error with my sandwich. By the time I checked my food I was already too far down the road to turn back around. Well, today, July 31, 2019, I went to grab lunch with my pup and ordered the same sandwich along with a 4 piece nugget. After receiving my order, I drove 10 minutes back home only to find that my order was missing the tomato and pickles, but they sure did make sure to charge me an extra 0.40 for those 3 tomatoes that were supposed to be on my sandwich. I packed up the food and returned back to McDonalds and asked for a new sandwich and fries because by this point mine were cold. They corrected my order and I was on my way. I peeked in one corner of the sandwich and saw cheese, tomato, pickle, and ketchup, so I was content. Well, I arrived home to find that I was given TWO pickles and TWO tomatoes stacked on one half of the sandwich. Really? The receipt stuck to my box even says 3 tomatoes. I’m beyond frustrated with this location. The only other time I’ve gone to this location was to get ice cream with my fiancé and go figure, the ice cream machine was broken. I will absolutely never return to this McDonalds. It’s not worth the...
