The older woman with tattoos ( presumably the manager ) got mad at me for asking for sauces because I wasn’t asked which ones I wanted with my nuggets while ordering ( which I’m pretty positive the employee is to ask ), I had backseat kids begging me to remember to ask for ranch which I did after receiving my drink's. When she brought the food to my car she corrected me the customer saying “if you forget to order sauces we will ring you out and put them in with your bag instead of handing them out the window”. Which is a statement that should have been handled amongst the crew and a correction made to the employees and not the customer. As it is normal for a customer to ask for sauce and not the customers job to follow or understand McDonald’s policy.
As well as. I was charged for an extra large fry that I didn’t ask for. I was missing a mcchicken that I payed for and asked for. Received a free Fanta orange drink. And had to remind the employee that we were missing a large sprite. $32 for food I didn’t ask for and missing food I was also charged for.
I am very sorry that customers will be customers and no matter how polite I try to be as one that working at McDonald’s seems to be so painful for you that you treat me and others with that kind of disrespect. I used to work in fast food and understand that even the nicest customers make mistakes or make it minorly frustrating to take their order. But you can make sure to smile back and to REMEMBER MY MCCHIKEN. Double check besties! I hope speaking with...
Read moreMy 3yr old son had received a gift card to McDonald’s for Christmas and of course with out me knowing he got ahold of it and bent it to where it was to damaged to use and read(it was a paper card).. they informed me in the drive thru that they couldn’t take it it’s to damaged but that the supervisor could possibly help me, so I just parked and went in to get it resolved.. the manager said she didn’t think they could do anything that I should call the number on the back of the card .. when I did I got an automated machine and did not get an option to resolve my issue. It was pretty much just to check the balance of the card so the supervisor heard my situation and took the card to try to call himself; mean while the manager Latricia asked me what my order was , I told her and she said I got it and took care of my order! As if that wasn’t a blessing enough the supervisor Darrell who realized the number on the back of the card was no help he pulled out a 20$ bill out of his own pocket and asked Latricia to just get me a New Gift Card! Their customer service was Beyond amazing and they went over and beyond to Satisfy a customer. I told them both they didn’t have to do that, and Darrell insisted due to not being able to resolve my issue. So my son and I left with a free meal and a brand new gift card !! Being a single mom little things like that means the world and are unforgettable!! Thank you Darrell and Latricia for going beyond your duties to help and take care of my son and I!! We...
Read moreToday I stopped by the North Courtney Pkwy McDonalds to grab a quick lunch. I decided to use the drive thru. When I pulled in the outer lane already had someone in it order, so I just drove up to the inner lane to order. Most places have one person handling both ordering lanes. This was not the case today. I waited for the person in the outer lane to finish. They did and drove to the window to pay. Meanwhile I continued to sit and wait for someone to acknowledge me. When no one said anything, I said hello. Finally someone came on and asked if I could wait just a moment. I said sure. Next thing I know the outer lane had someone new in it and their order was being taken. Meanwhile behind me in the inner lane there are now four cars deep. Again I said hello, why are the people in the outer lane having their orders taken when I was here first. The young lady said that is because there are two of us running the drive thru and I am currently making coffee. Within a minute of her saying that she came back and finally took my order. Everything after that went quickly and the rest of the staff there did their jobs quickly and were very nice. My question is why would you have two people taking orders if they are not both at a register to ring them up. If you do not have enough people to go around and one has to multi task then close one of the drive thru lanes. Also why could she not have stated she was unable to take my order and just gotten me over to the person who was actually...
