Shoppes of Victoria Square — Local services in Merritt Island

This strip mall has consistently been half empty for the past 20 years. Currently there is an Aldi grocery store, a Goodwill, Beef O Brady's, 2 dry cleaners, an ice cream shop, a gym, a dentist and a vet. But the largest space currently available for lease is the size of a grocery store (there used to be a Winn Dixie there for many years) and it's right next door to Aldi's, so maybe that's why it's so difficult to lease it out. Biggest issue is the parking lot. Dozen of potholes; some are really deep, wide. You can use a few entry ways in and out, but they all have holes. Lights that illuminate the lot at night are often not on. This is a dangerous incident waiting to happen. There used to be benches and trash bins around the Dollar store, they have been removed. Poor management or property leasing company can be blamed. Customer comfort, safety and satisfactory up-keep aren't a priority, might be time to...

Ice cream is great and such friendly folks every where you walk. Very nice here and clean! Buddy and I enjoyed our day here. Done a little shopping with him and as always never a dull moment. Just love when he hides from me and I think he's went on to the truck when in fact he's standing around the corner watching me look stupid... Gotta love him! He's full of jokes always!
