Monster Subs — Restaurant in Florida

At 1st glance the interior here does not look like much but let me tell you Jody is putting out amazing super fresh subs. He makes his own turkey & roast beef. He makes his own sub rolls & is a scratch kitchen. He only uses Roma tomatoes and chops them, the onions & the lettuce for the subs he is preparing. He does not cut or slice his veggies ahead of time.

Now I typically like my roast beef rare. Jody’s is more medium but there is so much flavor I didn’t mind the cook being medium.

I had the roast beef & cheddar sub with mayo, lettuce, tomatoes & sweet tear drop peppers.

My wife had the veggie sub (sautéed mushrooms, onion & green peppers) with creamy pesto, pepper jack cheese, lettuce, T tomato & jalapeños.

I can't rave enough about this place! This was a spur of the moment order for my office. And I couldn't be happier that we stumbled upon this little gem! This shop offers a variety of subs and salads that could please anyone's liking. I ordered 3 subs, all were "monster" sized! I also ordered 2 salads, which were surprisingly just as "monster"! The size of our meals wasn't what impressed me... the quality and freshness of the food was impeccable! Not only that, but I ordered a garden salad for myself. Just a typical garden salad.... which was anything but typical! My garden salad included lettuce AND spinach, black olives, sweet peppers, banana peppers, pickles, tomatoes, and true buttermilk ranch on the side! Yesterday was my first time ordering a monster sub on wheat bread and it was worth every penny. The bread was soft but sturdy and fresh, along with the vegetables and bounty amount of meat. The 12inch is automatically cut in half and wrapped separately. I ate the first half yesterday and the remaining half this morning and it tasted as if it was freshly made with the bread still intact and sturdy with the vegetables still crunchy.
