Mr.Empanada - Carrollwood — Restaurant in Florida

(1/02/2017) --- I know I wrote an entry about this place a long time ago; but, it is one of those places that I always recommend to everyone here in Tampa, at least in terms of franchise speaking. It is just lovely to find empanadas and some Latin foods around a business scenario that usually aims to hamburgers, fries and milkshakes.

The idea of having a variety of easy access food, is one of the reasons that is fun to go out and eat around your local cities or municipalities; in fact, the idea of having food in almost every corner is one of the things that I do enjoy food here in the United States. Having food trucks around, little family business and a variety of selection in every supermarket; it is fun to eat and is so nice to enjoy every little finding.

Inside Dale Mabry Store The enviroment is really casual; almost as a Cuban cafe that can be found in Miami, is just enjoyable to go and sit down for a little inside, or just to sit outside and eat some really good empanadas.

The menu is quite precise as they aim mostly towards empanadas as well some side Cuban dishes as sandwiches and soups; but, the flavor are actually quite amazing with their targeted product, The only negative aspect is that the empanadas themselves can be quite pricey towards the size and volume of what it get to...

This is a terrible restaurant. They messed up my order then demanded I fix it through Uber. Actually told me I had to fix it through Uber. They shorted me on food. Admitted it was their mess up and I am supposed to fix it through someone else? Then the guy says “he is the owner” and that’s how it’s going to be. He actually said that to me. Unbelievable. Do any of you really want a food preparer who is willing to steal your money and push off their admitted mistakes on others actually handling your food? That’s pretty scary. I’d beware of this restaurant.

Something is very wrong with a restaurant that goes to battle with a customer after they took money and refused to make right their wrong in shorting food. If they are this greedy and skimping, my concern is the safety of the food preparation quite frankly

So because of this guys outrageous behavior they lost all of my future business and people in my office. I was a good customer. Does that cover the value of a sandwich? Not good economic sense for the restaurant or putting good will into the community in my opinion especially when I did not get a refund of the money I spent for food not...

Worst customer service!!! I understand these are difficult times but thats ALL THE MORE REASON TO BE ON YOUR A GAME!!! I work retail so im big on customer service and greetings. The employee that walked up to the counter just stared as i waited for a greeting after walking in so i decided to break the ice and say hi first. No biggie. I said hi and he just awkwardly stared at me didn't even say hello back just asked me what did I want to order. I turned around and decided to spend my money at the Wingstop that is actually known for bad customer service but to my surprise I was greeted soon as i walked in by an even younger kid and they were busy!! There was no one at Mr. empanada except for drive-through and i can see why. The older lady that saw me walking out asked what happened and the guy said he didn't know I turned around and told her exactly what happened. The employee stated he said hi to me first but im 99.9% sure that wasn't true and it doesn't seem like they were eager to fix the situation so I will not be taking my money their again. May not mean much to some people but energy and karma is everything especially in hard...
