UPDATE: Saturday, August 14, 2021
To whoever answered my review. Thank you, but I just called, inquiring about your mask rule.
The lady that answered the phone informed me there wasn't one.
WON'T see a penny of business from me, until masks are enforced.
Too good to be true...
Had a problem last time we were at this restaurant. Waited a while and decided to give them another chance.
Spoke with the owner, Nicole about the previous issue and was ASSURED we'd NEVER have another problem.
Went in today 5/7/2021 little after 12:30 for lunch.
Mask rule on the door. However wait staff was NOT wearing masks. So, we decided to get our meals to go.
I asked for Nicole. Waited. Waited. Asked for her again. The dark haired older woman (who has a serious attitude problem anyway) snapped at me that Nicole was busy in the back, when I asked if she'd had a chance to let her know I wanted to see her.
I was simply going to inform her (because we've been regulars for a while) that if the wait staff was no longer wearing masks, we'd just be getting future orders, to go and hoped we'd be able to catch her, sometime to say, "hello."
Waited...waited. Orders came out. STILL no Nicole.
Oh and while I was waiting for Nicole, the two girls working for some reason decided to be in the back instead of on the floor, and what happened?
Despite the CLEAR sign on the door, two people walked in wearing NO masks...AFTER WE HAD NICOLE'S WORD THAT THE MASK RULE WAS GOING TO CONTINUE TO BE ENFORCED!
Paid for my food and left.
WILL NEVER GO BACK!!!!! SO DISAPPOINTED IN NICOLE NOT...
Read moreNatalie's was nice to eat breakfast at, after voting on election day. The food was really good. I got 2 eggs over easy, white toast, bacon, and grits with cheese, all for 6$! The coffee was REALLY good, and it was ENDLESS!! The waitress came every 5 mins or so to refill my cup. Every time my cup got about halfway down, there she was to top off my coffee. I never had to call her over to my table for anything.
The staff was really nice, especially when my 4 year old spilled his milk all over the place and my waitress had a giant mess to clean. The waitress was attentive and very friendly.
The children's menu was reasonably priced, and our food came out pretty fast. They offer dine-in and take out. The crowd is of an older age and it is a very relaxed place.
In my opinion, there were only two small negatives that made me give 4 stars instead of 5. First, they didn't have a television. Natalie's is a small restaurant, diner style, and I think a TV would have lent to the atmosphere and made it a more enjoyable, comfortable experience.
Second, the bathroom was small, which was fine, it was mostly clean, but it felt like I was in a gas station as opposed to a restaurant bathroom.
Natalie's has recently been redecorated and changed all of the furniture and decor. I think it is a lot nicer than it used to be. I love the booths, they are spacious and comfortable. There is PLENTY of seating. I also really love all the portraits of Marilyn Monroe and Audrey Hepburn. Very cool!
I would definitely recommend Natalie's to a friend for an affordable, quick, and tasty...
Read moreIn visiting Port Richey recently, my Florida family took me to lunch at Natalie's, which is near their home in Timber Oaks. Natalie's is similar to an old-time cafe run & owned by local folk who genuinely love what they do - and it shows! What the restaurant lacks in decor, it makes up with good food & genuinely happy service. We arrived in the early afternoon and were given the option of the breakfast or dinner menu. Perusing both menus, I opted for Eggs Benedict without meat & my sidekick ordered a Rueben sandwich. Both arrived speedily & were consumed nearly as quickly! Yes - the fare was so good we wolfed it down! I loved the atmosphere of Natalie's! The other diners at that hour seemed to be retirees however my bet is that their lunch & breakfast crowd is a lot of nearby working folk. The menu has a good selection for everyone and the atmosphere is very CONDUCIVE TO CONVERSATION! That is, NO OVER-AMPED (a.k.a. loud,) MUSIC with a ceiling speaker right over each table! YAY! Finally a place to talk! The prices were reasonable - about $8 for the Eggs Benedict. The service was great & their hearty appreciation of our business was voiced more than once. Conveniently located at: 8228 State Rd 52, Hudson, FL set back at the SW corner of Hwy 52 & La Merada.
Hours are: presently 7am to 3pm daily.
Do patronize! You'll be satisfied! (4 star because it was a "down home" restaurant - not a "fine dining" (or overpriced)...
