I want you to know that when I write the occasional really bad review I try to be very mindful of the fact that this is a business, possibly run by a family, and they and everyone I review deserve fair treatment. So I try to be factual and logical in laying out the review and various highlights or low points.
I ordered here many years ago and it wasn't great, but I thought I would try it again, for something different. I ordered the Szechuan Chicken with fried rice. Pretty basic. It just wasn't good at all. Probably the first time I've ordered Chinese food and been disappointed that the portion size was big.
Many pieces of chicken barely had any sauce on them. It wasn't well-done or even approaching crispy, but to be fair, it wasn't approaching anything but dry. I took a photo and included it here - the fried rice had big pieces of onion it it, and the Szechuan Chicken had onions and I believe shallots or red onions. I'm betting on shallots. You can see A LOT of them, and that's just the ones I decided to pull out. Far too many and what I strong and off-putting taste. The zucchini was nicely done, it had thinly sliced carrots and some celery, with a few mushrooms. It was unremarkable in any way, other than onions/shallots and a dirty oil taste.
Just sitting at the table waiting for the order was unpleasant. Disorganized tables and chairs, dirty tables, and food on the floor. The young man who took my order was very nice, but he was at a table on his phone when I walked in at lunch time. Pick up a cloth and wipe tables and sweep the floor, then perhaps have some phone time.
It wasn't a pleasant experience. The people were nice, the food and atmosphere was entirely...
Read moreThe food is good. I’ve been a loyal customer for years. I will continue to go back but your customer service could be better, especially when you have a 7-9 year old child working the register. He needs to know when to ask for help or less hours. I have ticket #74 from a pre order over the phone on Thursday.. I asked what side came with the dinner box, they said soda. I show up he struggled to find my order I placed 20 mins ago, I paid cash, I asked if I got a soda and he said no. Only lunch. I said ok what do I get? He said egg roll, and I asked to pay $1 for a soda which he took from the change he was giving me and my fiancé went to grab it and he yelled no. I’m shocked. This post is to explain a young child shouldn’t be working the register alone or at least not during dinner time when it could be the busiest. So I received no egg roll with my dinner box that I paid for, no soda that he took my money for and the worst service in front of other people. Please look in to taking your son off from the front register or get him...
Read moreWorst customer service I have ever had in my life! My family and I frequent here today I went in to place an order I am trying to order and the young girl (never seen her before) taking my order is the rudest person I ever encountered. As I'm placing my order she tells me to calm down, I'm like mam I am calm I am just trying to place my order she seemed to not know what's on the menu and got irritated by simple menu questions. I then proceed to continue with my order because I'm thinking ok maybe she's having a bad day and she continues with the most unprofessional attitude, that is not how you treat potential customers needless to say I walked out and I will not be returning to this establishment. She needs training on customer service & manners I am so non confrontational and a genuinely nice person, it's Christmas Eve lets just say she's a Grinch and with that attitude she will take the whole business down with her. I would stay away if you care about being treated...
