I was told about this place from a co-worker. I decided to stop in for the 1st time on my way to work to grab some breakfast. I walked in. No customers. A man behind the counter was preparing sandwiches. I say a cheerful "good morning!". He turns around to look at me, then turns back to making his sandwiches. Says nothing. I walk closer to the counter. He looks back again. Says nothing. Turns back to what he's doing. He proceeds to walk to the back to get something and returns to the front. I decide to peruse the menu on the counter. He finally turns toward me fully and I say "I'd like the [insert menu item]". He tells me he can't make that for me because the chef's "not here yet" and that all he could make was an egg sandwich, sorry. I said "Oh, I didn't know. First time here." He cuts me off saying "Just so you know". Feeling irritated, unwelcomed and miffed, I politely say "thank you" and leave. Never returning.
