Since new ownership took over this place has gone down hill. First, the quality of the food has really gone down. The sushi is awful. The Thai dishes are mediocre. One of the main issues is that they cut corners on the proteins for those dishes. The last time I ordered take out on their website, they messed up my order. I decided that I was probably not going to go back there.
However, I gave them another chance. Again, the screwed up my internet order. I ordered at 4:35 p.m. and specified a 7:00 p.m. pick up. They made the food immediately. They called me while I was unable to access my phone around 5:30. No one left a message. When I got to my phone around 6:50, I saw a missed call and knew it was their number. I called and told them I was returning their call. The first two people were clueless. I then spoke to someone, who asked if I was coming in for my order and that it had been ready since about 4:50. I told them that I specified a 7:00 p.m. pick up. I asked if they would remake the order so it would be fresh. I was told I would be charged for another order (I had paid in advance on-line).
I arrived at 7:00 p.m. (per my order). They only person who would pay attention to me barely spoke English. I took the order that was sitting there. I asked if we were o.k. because I already paid on-line and added a 20% tip. I was pulling away when the same young lady came after me to pay. I told her I paid on-line and tipped.
I have a few suggestions for the ownership. If you offer on-line ordering, make sure you and your staff understand the system. Also, make the customer happy. The few bucks you saved not remaking my order cost you a long term repeat customer. Also, put more passion and effort into your food. The last three times I have eaten there, the quality was on par with frozen food. Lastly, your sushi is god-awful. Your "deep blue sea" is supposed to be a mix of fresh seafood. When I got home, it was just minced tuna, avocado and oranges drowning in Siracha. There was no variety of "seafood". Your Red Dragon Roll is abominable. I live within walking distance of this place. I will be driving to Sabai Thai in North Palm or Lana Thai in Juno...
Read moreSiam Square has yet to disappoint me as far as the quality of food. We've come here about three times so far, having moved from Fort Lauderdale recently. If you're looking for a great priced sushi spot, come here. It's hard to find anything reasonably priced in this area, as most of us know, and usually quality suffers. Not so here, the sushi always looks really fresh and I hope he always orders the same exact dish, chicken pad Thai. He loves it, but to be honest he's easily pleased. Not me, I'm a bit of a sushi snob, at least it has to be fresh and good quality. This hits both marks as well, and as I have previously stated, the great prices. Service is everything to me, and you were greeted immediately with very friendly smiles and a great attitude. I ordered the sashimi sampler plate. They gave me white tuna, Ahi, and salmon, each one had good sized slices with three per order. I also had chicken satay with peanut sauce and a sweet cucumber sauce. The chicken was not too dry, they actually cooked it pretty good, that's kind of hard considering it's on an open fire. I've already told a couple of people about this, and they've come back with positive reviews as well. The little rosettes are made from our drinking straws. What...
Read moreWe get food from these guys often, It was only the most recent order that they screwed up and they did it with style. We ask very specifically every time we get food from there, To please avoid Shellfish and avoid using the same pans etc, As we have somebody in the family who is Fatal in allergies with Shellfish.
We ordered the Delux Fried Rice, Expressed our usual wishes.. " Please refrain from cooking in same pans as shellfish, Please do not include shellfish. " to which, We still ended up with a dish and shellfish being in it.
Their food is often lovely, but I feel their customer care can be a little off, I'm rating a 1 star purely for the neglect to check for shellfish even in regards to the fatal...
