First time eating Ozona pizza. I went online to view the menu, I have the option to order online. Very convenient so why not. I ordered what I wanted , it took about 10 minutes. Going through the whole menu checking to see what they have again this is my first time ordering. After placing my order I waited about five minutes while the website contacted the restaurant to give them my order and the restaurant to accept my order. After five minutes the restaurant did not except my order. It told me to call the restaurant. I called and it was funny because as soon as you call the recording says you can conveniently order online LOL , I explained what happened, the girl apologized said she would take two dollars off the bill. Ok I guess. I ordered what I wanted, she asked me if it was for pickup or delivery I told her delivery she took my address and also asked me the name of my neighborhood. After waiting about 45 minutes I received a phone call asking if my order was for pickup or delivery. I told him delivery, they did not ask for my address because they already had it . The delivery driver shows up and did not know my order total. He did not know how much it cost. He called the shop, they told him . The total was $32, I paid with 2 $20 bills. I asked for four dollars back. $32 for the pizza/knots which includes a $4.50 charge for delivery and I also was going to give the delivery driver a four dollar tip. The delivery driver had 2 one dollar bills on him and then scraped up $1.50 from his truck. So I tipped more than I wanted to because I had to. So I get the food inside open it up and I am amazed. This pizza I have is $20 , it is paper thin and it's not even 12 inches, what I ordered. They ask you the size you want and I said 12 inches. It's 11 inches , it's paper thin crust and it's $20. The garlic knots are eight dollars. Very expensive place, service is questionable. I will probably not be ordering from here again. 5 stars for the taste but DEFINITELY...
Read moreWORST SERVICE AND WORST PIZZA EVER!! THERES NO WAY THE GOOD REVIEWS ON HERE ARE FROM REAL CUSTOMERS!!! I ordered a thin crust pizza and it was HORRIBLE, NOT TO MENTION IT TOOK FOREVER TO BE MADE, PLUS, THE OWNER HAD HER KIDS MAKING IT! I ordered a thin crust pepperoni pizza, it was if I had ordered a "no crust" pizza because i couldnt find the crust; I've never had a pizza with the dough that thin before; it was as if it was only made of cheese and sauce. I told the owner I didn't like it and she gave me attitude. She preceded to make sure I knew they had been voted "best pizza" with this look on her face as if i had just hit one of her kids. I wouldn't say it was the best pizza I had ever had; I would say it was a "good " slice of melted cheese with a pepperoni on top at the most. The restaurant itself wasnt the cleanest, it was like I was sitting in their living room. There was an area that looked like it held ice cream for sale and where a small child was able to run in and out of leaving me to wonder if little ditry hands were able to help themselves to this ice cream that was sold to the public. The owner had to tell her child more than once to get out of it. I wasn't impressed. The owner seemed nice up until I said I didn't like the pizza. I paid for the pizza by the way, even though I didn't like it and she offered no discount even though we had only one bite each and had waited 30- 40 minutes to get it. Not a place I would try again or ever recommend. THERES NO WAY THE GOOD REVIEWS ON HERE CAME FROM REAK CUSTOMERS,...
Read moreVEGANS BE WARNED: I'm underwhelmed and very disappointed. I ordered a 16" vegan pizza with three toppings - red peppers, spinach and eggplant. This was $34.00, which is totally ridiculous. The vegan cheese is as tasteless as the crust, which takes a LOT of chewing. I was asked if I wanted the hand-tossed or the thin. I asked for hand tossed. If this isn't the thin crust, I'd hate to see what is. We can barely taste the sauce - the toppings as well. Very sparingly applied - the eggplant was imperceptible; sliced so thin and burned. I don't get down this way often, and I certainly don't EVER spend $34 on a pizza. Far from a welcoming atmosphere, and I most certainly won't return. What a shame - could've been a great place for vegans. Oh, except that as I was waiting for my order, the owner came running in talking loudly about feeding her kids pork chops and how she cut them up, etc. The way to ruin an appetite for a vegan. The next time I want to buy a vegan pizza, I'll drive over to the Mellow Mushroom, or even Blaze. A frozen pizza isn't much different from this one. I want to add: I just perused the reviews, and noticed that nothing is their fault. Not an apology to be found. In fact, the tone taken is pretty snarky. I don't understand how they are still in business. The comment about the crust tasting like the oven was dirty - thank you! I couldn't put my finger on it, but the crust is...
