Edit, after our second visit - this place is gross. The pad Thai is drenched in a thick sweet sauce. The soup is flavorless and small and the place is filthy. The service is nonexistent - one woman who is rude. Atmosphere: I know we don’t go to a Thai restaurant for the ambience, but this is a very depressing atmosphere. In a run down strip mall, no music playing, place is dark and feels cold. It was very dirty, feels unsanitary. Food: now for the real reason you come, we were excited as we heard the place was good. But nothing was the best version of that dish we ever had. Nothing was amazing. I’d say it was just your average yummy Thai food. Most dishes checked the box. The green curry was not good very watery like a thin soup with very little meat. This is not a place you would drive out of your way for, but if you are craving Thai food and local it will hit the spot. The main review is a guy claiming it’s worth the drive from Boca, IF this is worth a 45 min drive to you, you clearly have never had amazing Thai food. It’s mostly average in a very dirty run down environment.

It's the best Thai place I've tried in Miami. This is the closest to authentic Thai you will get in the city. We have visited this restaurant a couple times and we are always impressed by the richness of the flavors of the food. This is not only good Thai but it's thai to another level. They add an xtra kick of flavor. Go mild on your spice as medium would be in the very spicy side. The place is impeccable. You can tell they care for their clients and what they do. We went during Covid19 and they were taking all safety precautions to make sure customers were safe including checking our temperature and hand sanitizers in every table. Our server was very pleasant, kept checking on us and the food came out very speedy. We recommend their salads with meat, their soups are exceptional and their stir fried to die for. I don't think you can go wrong with any food at this place. If we think of good Thai in Miami we always think of this place. You should try it!

Wrote a whole review and am unsure if it posted so here goes again: it took a lot of gumption for me to come here because I love Lung Yung Thai so much. It’s literally one of my favorite restaurants on the planet. But im glad I ventured north to this place because the boat noodles was possibly the best new (for me) Asian dish I’ve had in years. I won’t tell you what the secret ingredient is but if you like Asian soups this one is divine. Their curry noodles were also on point. The he sticky rice with fresh Thai mango was amongst the best Asian desserts I’ve had in the us, where desserts in Asian restaurants are normally terrible. They have authentic Thai food, white people Thai, and truly weird stuff so I think everyone will enjoy it. Their homemade hot sauces might be the number one reason why im already plotting my next trip, unlike any I’ve had even in Thailand and even better than many I had in Thailand! Highly recommended

Great tasting Thai food! We ordered a spicy beef salad, pad see ew, kao soy, and crispy duck, and everything was perfectly made with GREAT wok hei (which is super important for stir fry dishes!!). This is definitely the spot for authentic, tasty thai food. Everything was very fairly priced, the waitresses were super attentive and very nice as well. This is definitely a great spot to stop to eat, and is definitely a delicious spot. They definitely were able to tone down the spicy, as one of our friends weren’t able to handle spice, without sacrificing flavor. Atmosphere wise, the space does feel a little older, and it’s a little chaotic, so if that’s something that bothers you I’m not sure if you’d love this place. However, the food makes up for it.

It was well worth the drive coming from Boca to have lunch here. Panya has been on our bucket list for quite some time. Upon entering, you’ll sense the Thai feeling from the decor and the friendly hospitality of the waiters. The menu have a wide selection and quite some authentic dishes that you won’t find in many of the Thai restaurants here in SoFlo. Love the quality pictures of all the dishes in the menu. We started with appetizers of fried mussels and fresh Thai spring roll which were tasty. Our main course were noodles and both dishes were flavorful with authentic ingredients. Ended the meal with coconut ice-cream served with sticky rice and Thai-style jelly. Surely recommend this place even if you have to take a detour.

Go to Thai House II instead. It’s up the street with better food and less of a stench than this place. I know what Thai food is supposed to smell like and this was not ok. I ordered a Thai Iced Tea which was whatever but I’ve had better and the Crispy duck was also uninspiring. The menu was difficult to read because they were in screen protectors taped inside of a book. Apparently they only use two menus for the whole restaurant (fits like 50 people) to share because they would not supply me with another one. The pad Thai was just lousy so it was sent back. We weren’t asked for a spice level whatsoever now that I think about it. The beef satay was okay but the portion was modest.
