Pasta Di Guy in Wesley Chapel. FL.
Pretty good. Fresh. I had spaghetti and meatballs which was tasty. The spaghetti is imported from Italy. The meatballs had a good flavor. You get 5!!!
Hubby had the chefs pasta. Which they make there, fresh.. It's a spiral type pasta. It's so soft and pillowy. I would get that next time! It's so delicious. He got the chicken parm with that pasta. The chicken was delicious. They give you so much food!
The fried ravioli was a bit disappointing. I just didn't care for the flavor. But they weren't bad. The breadsticks were just breadsticks. Nothing special.
We got an oreo canoli. Or cookies and cream. I can't remember if it was specifically oreo. But it was so delicious! One of my favorite things in canoli. This wasn't like a typical canoli. They're usually pretty dense, and in my opinion, easy to mess up. These here were more of a smooth and creamy whipped cream type filling, and they were do delicious! They had a cookie dough one as well. I'm so sad now we didn't get both. They change weekly!
Overall. Good food. You order at a counter, and they bring out the food in glass bowls, and some of the food in paper stuff. Haha. It's a little fast food, and a little sit down all rolled into one....
Read moreWe heard about Pasta di Guy Italian restaurant from some friends, we had to try it so we drove over 30 minutes to Wesley Chapel from Tampa, it was well worth it.
Coming into the restaurant, we experienced a small location but with very modern look and design and very friendly staff. We ordered few items since it was very hard to decide on what to try. The Fried Cheese Ravioli with Alfredo sauce was amazing, I ate in many restaurant all over the world specifically in Italy, this was by far the best Ravioli I ever got. The Alfredo Sauce was very special and not too heavy. We got the Zucchini noodles which was very tasteful, I will never Imagine I will enjoy Zucchini, the Penne we got was very fresh and tasty. My wife ordered the Market Salad which I enjoyed, the vegetables were very fresh, I am not sure what was the dressing but love the light sweetness. It was hard to decide on the desert but we selected the Tiramisu, I would like more Kahlua in it but it was very fluffy and tasty and not too heavy,
The overall experience was amazing defiantly one of the best Italian food I had (and I spent in other restaurants over $180/couple) at a price you can’t beat. You have to try it to believe.
I wish they had a location in...
Read moreSo my wife recently started a job in Wesley Chapel. So, she's been telling me off and on about this place and how we we need to try it together one day. We'll today was the day. So, coming into this, I had some preconceived ideas of what I was walking into. (Which I traditionally try not to do, to be fair to the new place that I am trying out). So I was told this is Fast Food Italian. So this had me thinking like Fazoli's. So Pasta Di Guy has a Pasta which my uncultured self had never heard of. Stroppapreti. I'd heard of Penne, Fettuccine, Gnocchi, Rigatoni, Macaroni, Ravioli, Farfalle (bow-tie) and a few other... but not Stroppapreti. So because I am an uncultured swine, I will explain this pasta as best as I can. Imagine a Macaroni noodle but longer. Now imagine there is two noodles stuck together to make the number 8, but it's slightly twisted. Thats what Stroppapreti is to me. It's a lot of a noodle/Pasta in each bite. (Google Stroppapreti for more information about that particular pasta).
I said all that to say that if you want Fast Food Italian, go to Fazoli's. If you want good Italian Food Fast, come to...
